I watched this expecting it to be about the real estate market or the properties themselves, but instead it is a showcase for the vacuous Umansky sisters & other permatanned two-faced people who work in a particular agency.
Despite being related in some cases, and supposedly friends in others, the people who feature in this show spend more time saying something to each other's faces with over the top enthusiasm (and sometimes thinly veiled criticism) then something totally different to other people, or to the camera.
The other star of this show is the hideous fashions which make these people look like they've been dressed at an 80's English jumble sale (which is not a good thing). If you're a fan of people who look like they've had plastic surgery & been primped to within an inch of their life before being dressed in worn out, dishevelled or incorrectly sized clothing, whilst behaving horribly towards each other, then this is the show for you. If you want a programme about properties, you should avoid it at all costs!

Love seeing homes like this. Yes it is a reality show but if you go in with no prior judgment you will like the interaction between co-workers and family. Farrah is so calm and confident, so beautifully reserved.
Some need to not worry about nepotism. Just keep working hard. Many companies have family working there.
For those who are unhappy with happenings on other shows, just don't watch it..Like a toxic friend that you will ghost. Ghost the show and leave reviews for genuine viewers. It is a pity that some reviews have this bias when there are so many in this show who are not part of other shows or what happened.

I think the first reviewer has been unnecessarily harsh. This is not Emmy Winning material, but it nails perfectly what provides the appeal of every high end real estate reality show. Homes we cannot afford. Jobs we do not have. Clothes we cannot fit into or afford. Cars we do not drive. Lives we admire. It is a window into a sometimes superficial world, but damn it's so much fun. Get caught up in the storyline, relationships, and jaw droppingly stunning Beverly Hills real estate. Fabulous.
Tracking the professional and personal interplay between the family and work colleagues is great fun, and I am looking forward to future seasons.

It is pretty clear that the agency will be front loaded with family. Maurizio's girls have it made. I am not saying this is wrong but I do not understand why the other agents are working so hard when in time they will all be edged out by his family. They are keeping him afloat until the girls can take their jobs.
I would leave now and start building their own empires . Why wait? They know it is coming. Then they will all have to start somewhere new. Makes no sense to me. The girls may or may not be successes, hard to tell. They dont show much of what Farrah actually does. I believe she is the hardest worker though.
AND it is a little unsettling to see these realtors use the homeowners home like it is theirs. Getting in the tub w shoes on? Please.. no respect.

If you enjoy extremely boring and scripted reality tv 'starring' the psychopath known as Mauricio Umansky, then this show is for you. Creepy doesn't begin to describe him or this show.
Why Umansky would want to draw attention to his business in light of the sanctions he's received from the real estate board, his lawsuits for screwing over his own clients, as well as the fact that half of his agents have quit The Agency (yes Umansky's screwed them out of commision too), is beyond me.
The only up side to this show is to further show the general public just how awful these Beverly Hills rich folks are. Family to them is nothing more than a buzz word.
