The story was very gripping, but I didn't enjoy how cold the first character was behaving towards his dying wife. He should have shown more affection and emotions for his terminally ill wife who showed a lot of courage and bravery to help him with the process. It felt like the couple were shy to show affection towards each other in the movie! Also the very important ending details for dragging the evil characters down shouldn't have been squeezed in the very last 5 mins of the series! It was like the casts and the crew got bored decided to end the important details that way! By the way, the chairman's serial killer son needed more attention in the series!
Big Mouth is the perfect example of a classic thriller. The increasingly high ratings for all the episodes indicate just how riveting the show is. Sadly, where one would expect it to end with a bang, it concludes with more of a fizzle.
If you're looking for intrigue and shock, then Big Mouth has it for you. The plot is fast-paced, gripping and ticks all the thriller check-boxes. There are twists and turns, alliances and political games, and a realistic look at how hierarchies and power structures work. Packed with suspense, the moments of revelation are some of the show's best scenes.
A story is only as effective as its ending. If it can't stick the landing, all the preceding hours of excellence can feel like a waste. This is the problem with Big Mouth. While it gave us fourteen enthralling episodes, the last two just don't live up to the same quality and rushed without any development towards the end at all. All in all, Big mouth is still a strongly crafted thriller which should be watched fpr it's tension and suspense, with a subtle pinch of romance.
My Rating : 8.5/10.

A modern take on The Count of Monte Cristo. Lee Jong Suk returned to the scene with a vengeance. He plays the character Park Chang-ho, a fast talking lawyer who gets tangled in a murder trial and ends up in prison. While trying to clear his debts.
Lim Yoona plays the dedicated wife, Miho, whose unwavering support, along with her lawyer father and his partner, help Chang-ho reveal the truth.
This drama has me on the edge of my seat. Just watch it, you won't be disappointed.
My ONLY grip is I had to jump through hoops to watch it in the US. Disney really missed an opportunity for the world to see this fantastic drama.

"Lee Jong suk" the actor that never fails to entertain us with his masterclass acting and must say what an acting by Yoona she indeed worked hard for this drama. The cast are too perfect for their specific roles. Anyone hesitating to watch this drama, please do try it's just perfect in my opinion ( I have been watching K-drama since 3 year just for your clarification). Every episode has its own impact and full of logical suspension.
I would have waited until the whole drama had aired, and maybe not even reviewed it all, but the 10 or so gushing reviews so far prompted me to say something after episode 12.
I get that ladies love LJS (and I am one of them) but he wants to be known for his work as a good actor, and not just to be uncritically promoted by his fans in incoherent posts that praise everything he does. Ditto for the Yoona fans who get together and bombard every platform with positive messages. This is a review section not a fan wall.
Yes it's fun guessing who Big Mouse is, and events move fast with a lot of twists and turns, but just as with sleight of hand and card tricks, sometimes so fast it disguises improbable plot progression and also attempts to hide the holes. With four episodes to go, it's all action and no explanation, lots of icing and maybe less cake than expected. Viewers are put in the position of having to accept this or abandon the ability to suspend disbelief and start asking awkward questions instead.
The acting across the board is very good with compelling performances by Kim Joo-hun as the dodgy Mayor Choi and Yang Kyung-won as the over-the-top media king Gong Ji-hoon. With an overwhelmingly male cast, the handful of females manage to hold their own, and Lim Yoo-na does a decent job. However the acting honours go to LJS, whose performance as Park Chang-ho holds the whole thing together.
The speed at which events travel, the constant ups and downs of just about every character, is slick but exhausting. I may return to this review when I've finished the whole series and I hope it manages to keep all the balls in the air until the very end. For now, I could wish for more sense and less sensation, but let's see how it goes.
