What a captivating movie! An underrated gem, flawlessly executed and one of the most remarkable recent Malayalam films. Everything about it is impeccable - the script, screenplay, storyline, climax, and the cast. Each actor portrayed their role exceptionally well, making the movie a true masterpiece. Instead of opting for a high-stardom superstar, the makers wisely chose a relatively less popular actor for the lead role. They understood that the script itself doesn't demand a typical hero figure, as the compelling storyline has the power to transform anyone into a hero. This bold decision added depth and authenticity to the film, proving that a well-crafted script can elevate any performer to greatness.

The Malayalam movie industry has a reputation for producing high-quality films, and this one is another shining example in its illustrious history.

If you are looking for a flawless thriller with a mind blending twist, you can go for this.

I liked it, its thriller a with twist .. but most importantly , its simple with not much bluffed up scenes . Its a family friendly movie. I think the casting was done pretty well and Krishna Shankar did a good effort pulling off this character .

If you are looking for fantabulous dialogues and big theatrical experience, then this movie is not the one , but if you want something authentic, something you can relate , and some people you've seen in your real life , this is the movie for you ..

i personally do think that they could have done a bit more , but overall the film is good as it is. And also i saw the google description about movie was struggle of a short police officer to prove himself, the short stature mocking is shown only during the starting of movie , the film takes another course within 30 minute into the movie....

I really enjoyed watching the Kochal movie , since I didn't expect much from this movie , But towards my surprise I feel the movie is very thrilling and Engaging. One of the best Malayalam movie I have watched in the recent times . The script , story line and direction is perfect , There is valid connection between scenes and all are engaging . It maintain good level of suspense towards the climax of the movie , Also most of the scenes we can relate to be real life of a police man . Every actors performed well , Kochu preman sir ,Krishna Sankar , Murali Gopi ,shine Tom Chacko ,Vijaya raghavan are live as a actual characters . Kudos to the entire team . Small but great movie .without any hype .The movie deserve much better audience attention. It is one of the under estimated good movie .deserve a worth watch .

This was mixed bag - has some really good performances and dialogues, especially from the supporting actors as well as leads, but the trouble is in the pacing and screenplay (sporadically good in an ocean of mediocrity and often mundane ).

The real trouble I feel is that the movie needed a much better editing, especially towards the climax (it was a huge let off and frankly left off almost incompletely - almost as if they run out of film or director just got fed up with shooting or something).

That being said, the performances and sporadic scenes and premise is interesting does captivate ( one of the best things with OTT - the fast forward button :) makes it a watchable film)

But in all honestly I watched the film in around an hour or may be less (as I was constantly skipping through the boring, mundane, repetitive bits )
