Really?! A single mom with three kids and the son is wearing high end clothes. I don't think so!
And absolutely not every kid in these areas are wearing Boss, Adidas, Nike and others!
The story is weird and all clips from the past till present is confusing when it goes back and forth with no difference in light or colour.
I was very hopeful in the beginning but the story writer has not that many clues about what it's like in the real suburbia, Stockholm.
Then, I must say that it's very nicely filmed so you can't really tell exactly where in Stockholm it is supposed to happened.
Please do better research next time. Thank you!

Regardless whatever political view you may have, you will likely agree that this series describe the current gang violence problem in Sweden painfully well. Young kids who are trapped in suburbs and sucked into the gangs, either because they don't see anything else, or that they are simply too afraid to say stay out. A law enforcement system, that tries to nail down the rotten apples who use young kids for the dirty work, but too often fails. Fiction, yes indeed. But some parts are painfully real. What the series does best is that it helps the watcher to realise that 1) the bad guys don't have any specific skin color and 2) there is no quick fix.
In the gray shadows of modern Sweden, where echoes of reality softly bounce off stark walls, the series "I Dina Händer" ("In Your Hands") offers a poetic glimpse into contemporary life. This series is a masterpiece of nuance and empathy, where the music does not merely serve as a backdrop but stars prominently, with melodies that touch both heart and soul.
The acting of the young cast is particularly outstanding, bringing a mature seriousness to the portrayal of teenage complexities. Their performances are nothing short of stunning, infusing the series with depth and believability rarely seen. These young actors masterfully convey a spectrum of emotions, resonating with a nuanced understanding of human vulnerability.
Not only does the series approach modern reality with a sharp lens, but it also portrays the complexities of police work in a manner that is both thorough and honest. Each scene is carefully crafted, with the tension of investigations interwoven with the everyday realities of the officers and the people they protect.
"I Dina Händer" is more than just a series; it is a study of life and survival, love and conflict, seen through the eyes of those who mirror society. It is an artistic endeavor that challenges, moves, and ultimately enriches the viewer.

Heavy series. Fantastic acting. I can't speak to how realistic it is in terms of Swedish law, which a couple other reviews have criticized. Whether or not there were mistakes there, this series is really more about the decisions people are faced with and how kids generally lack the intellect and emotional maturity to understand their choices. The acting portrayed this well in the final scenes when it was clear how the lead detective Farid reacted/felt about what had happened in court vs the witness' lack of true understanding about what he'd done.
I recommend for the acting and directing but it really is heavy.

The series is clearly written by someone with no real understanding beyond what they've read in the news. Like many other Swedish series and films, it feels more like theater than cinema. Most actors seem to be reading from cue cards behind the camera, indicating what emotions to display. The result is an empty, plastic, and overacted production. I would rate it 4/10 and wouldn't recommend it unless you're already a fan of Swedish productions. This is my first IMDb review in many years, which says something about how I felt about this series.
P. S. Someone said it was similar to End of Watch. I think that person should watch End of Watch again. That is a well-acted and well-written film.

- TriviaIn the scene where "Dogge" (Olle Strand) is smoking weed with "The Italian" (Rabiah Ferchichi) in their makeshift apartment, the song "Virile" by The Blaze is playing. "Dogge" and "The Italian" then start dancing and shadowboxing as the song plays. This is an allusion to, and almost a direct reflection of, The Blaze's actual music video.
