The 5th Dimension

Very well-done high concept short film that makes you want to see what Ciaron Davis could do with this story and a proper budget for a feature film. A unique voice.

Obviously the filmmakers took had some fun with this short film and tried some high art concepts. The thing that makes this work is the constant strung of anticipation of how this is going to work out. Green screen work is decent and the effects are decent for a low budget film. Give it a shot. Recommend if you're into odd high art concepts or strange cinema.

This short is like nothing I've ever seen before, and I love it. So awesome, original and creative.

What a trip this short is! In approximately 12 minutes I went from cautious observer to feeling like I was an active participant, not the easiest thing to pull off yet The 5th Dimension manages quite naturally. This could definitely be expanded into more, but as it is it remains quite an experience!

This film is very well conceived and executed... so much so that I was genuinely disturbed watching it! The 5th Dimension is way more unsettling than most horror movies on Netflix and the fantasy setting adds (excuse the pun) another dimension to an inspired premise and production.
