As a long time fan of the Fallout Franchise, I've always wanted a TV series or movies based on the game. It's one of those great series where there's an endless amount of possibilities you could do with it. The background, lore and world building is already there. Last year I stumbled across a series on YouTube called Fallout: Nuka Break if was surprisingly well done and I enjoyed it. I ended up only watching the first episode. I was thinking about it recently and decided to track it down and finish watching it. It was a pleasant surprise to see there was two season of it up to view.
From what I understand this was a fan film series. That fact only makes it even more awesome with what they accomplished. It was well done, lots of little nods and acknowledgment of the games rich history. The story was well crafted and I liked the characters. I wish this would have been longer and that there would have been more seasons. A lot of big budget properties could take a page from this group on how to do a video game adaption properly.
My only complaint and it's more like a minor gripe is the seasons were too short but seeing it was a fan made series, and knowing they were probably on a tight budget, I get it. If you're a fan of the Fallout series, I think you'd enjoy this. I know I did. I noticed there are some other Fallout shows & fan shorts that I want to check out. Hopefully, they'll be close to being as good as Nuka Break. All I know is Bethesda really should give these talented folks a green like to make a feature-length film because their talent mixed with their love and reverence for the franchise is obvious. I have little doubt they wouldn't do it justice.
My Rating: 8/10

This show is pretty awesome.
The story can be a little out of sorts but is nevertheless a fun time. It feels like it starts off in a weird spot but you can easily get the idea and premise. I like the characters because it feels like less of a fallout experience but more a story told within its universe that keeps the elements and themes. I like this. The problem with video games in movies and tv is that they try to drive off of the game and it's plot too much. And some times they do it to little and make up stuff and that's just dishonest.
This show is an epic medium an I appreciate that. It's not to long and is a short an fun time despite its budget.

For anyone who has played FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS or even FALLOUT 3, you can't help but be overwhelmed by the efforts of those who made this series.
Even if you never played the game(s), it's a brilliant effort by all involved to come up with an original, intelligent story. From actors to everyone involved in the technical chain, they all worked hard to produce a competent product.
Gamers will appreciate the excruciating attention to detail in the costumes and story.
It's an instant classic in its field, and frankly better than most of what's on SyFy these days.....

Odd why it is now only in early 2019 that I come to learn about the "Fallout: Nuka Break" series, and even more so since I am big fan of the Fallout universe and the games.
Needless to say that I immediately jumped at the chance to sit down and watch "Fallout: Nuka Break" when I happened to stumble upon seasons 1 and 2 on YouTube.
Wow. Just wow!
I was completely blown away by this fan-made project. I had not ever dreamt about ever seeing the Fallout universe being brought to life on the screen, aside from the Bethesda and Black Isle games. But this was nothing short of spectacular and phenomenal.
The storyline in "Fallout: Nuka Break" was quite good, very well thought through and also one that was riveting and captivating. And it was such a treat that they had included some very loveable characters in the series.
The production level of "Fallout: Nuka Break" is astounding, and it really shows that this was made by true fans and fanatics of the Fallout universe. Lots of great details to be had, and I will say the series is worth watching a second time around just to notice all the small details in the scenes that really catches the essence and spirit of the Fallout universe and post-nuclear continental USA.
They had some interesting performers on the cast list. Personally I always enjoy watching new faces on the screen, so it was really nice to have the likes of Zack Finfrock (playing Twig), Tybee Diskin (playing Scar), Aaron Giles (playing Ben), and a massive thumbs up for them to get the always memorable Doug Jones to appear in the movie, that was just a massive achievement.
The costumes and props were top notch, sure, some of them were showing signs of being cosplay props, for sure, but that hardly mattered, because the director Vincent Talenti and his crew of filmmakers captured the heart and soul of Fallout.
This was a major neglecting part on my account that I hadn't gotten word of the "Fallout: Nuka Break" series before 2019. But wow, this definitely is a MUST watch for all fans of the Fallout games and the Fallout universe.
Thumbs up on this one. Way, way up.

This is just amazing, breathtaking cinematics, storyline and captures the feel and authenticity of New Vegas and the post apocalyptic world in which we have all grown to love in the Fallout series. :)
Thank you so much for the time and effort which has went into this series. Praise where praise is due.
This could contend with many other big budget movies and I didn't get the feeling it was made just for the sake of it. I felt the love for Fallout and it's fans.
The actors/actresses in this series are so good and portraying the dialogue and emotions I felt like I actually was playing a HD version of the game :)
Again thank you for this series, one of my games just got even better (If that's possible)
