The movie is a jewel! I found myself laughing, crying and amazed at the insights into human nature. The characters find themselves in need of transcendence out of life's situations and it is uniquely provided in ways you would not expect - it makes sense. You can really get a tantalizing picture of the unseen all around us presented in a very moving way. It also shines a light of hope in the darkness of a soul. I would also like to add - if you enjoyed "What Dreams May Come" you're going to love this.
The show was always sold out and on the particular night I went there was live music entertainment and a Q&A at the end of the movie - there were lot's of questions answered by Scott himself. I don't know if this is always the case but it was a special night.
I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

I was very moved by this film. Coming from a place where I've dealt with a loved one going through cancer, I found the characters, emotions and scenes very relatable. I laughed, I cried and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The audience seemed to feel the same way. I heard laughter and tears several times throughout the movie. I especially enjoyed the music and how well it creates the atmosphere and articulates the characters' emotions. The aerial silks were an excellent effect and really fit the scene. Scott is incredibly talented and this was quite the accomplishment. I thought it was beautifully written and directed!
As I approach the milestone of my 50th birthday, I finally realize why I was put on Earth. I'll never be like Jonas Salk and discover a cure for a horrible disease. I'll never explore the heavens like Neil Armstrong. I'll never paint a masterpiece like Renoir. But I do know my life will have purpose if I can save one person from sitting through this movie.
No doubt the creative team meant well, but this was dreadful. The storyline had so much potential, but it was wasted. Most of the acting was painful to watch. The script was disjointed and sadly predictable. On top of everything, the entire effort was about as depressing as could be. My wife and I attended with high hopes, and we really appreciate non-mainstream movies. Somberly filing out of the theater, we overheard many others echoing our same disappointment.
On the plus side, the movie was mercifully short at only 80 minutes. We had invited our daughter and son-in-law to join us, and since I had picked the movies, I now have to do 80 minutes' worth of chores for each of them as penance. All four of us, frequent movie- goers, wholeheartedly agreed this was the worst movie we'd ever seen.

i can't say enough. the story line, the casting, the chemistry, camera work, soundtrack, couldn't take my eyes off the screen. dream sequence, imaginative, beautiful. the dog was wonderful. there was an element of surprise. i was sad, happy, joyful, hopeful. the actors are so talented. Oregon, beautiful landscape. the hospital scenes were to the point. a little chilling. i wondered, if possible, someone might make that choice, take that chance. the director's vision. i am from time to time involved in film making and i have to say i learned a lot. Danforth and Mariam, great chemistry. camera, lighting, well done. music, fit like a glove. i want to applaud everyone involved.
