I loved this !

As another reviewer has said, the continuity with the actual Star Wars movies is a bit out, I have been a huge Star Wars fan since I was a kid and I didn't care one bit about the continuity being out at all, I watched it expecting a kids condensed version of the Star Wars movies and that is exactly what it is, however it was laugh-out-loud funny !!! So many jokes in there that die hard Star Wars fans will love and appreciate.

The animation is fantastic and my kids love it ! It keeps them occupied and out of my hair for 20 minutes while they are glued to the screen.

I highly recommend this!

At first I have to say - I hate Star Wars and I hate animated movies as well. But a long time ago I was in love with Lego... This short movie was awesome. It was a nice adventure, cinematically very well done, music was completely fitting. But what completely stunned me was how freaking realistic those Lego pieces look like! I don't know if it's part animated and part real but it sure looked extremely real - besides the characters of course, but even those looked well. And I loved the humor, it really got me, best comedy I watched in months. I can't say more: I hope there will come more, a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooot more.

This film is about an orphan who breaks into the heart of the Empire and pretends to be a knight in training.

I have not watched any of the "Star Wars" films, so I have to say I was a bit lost with who is who and what was going on in the animation. The story is highly compressed to fit into the 22 minutes runtime. I think there must be at least 2 hours of material if it was a proper film. It assumes a lot of prior knowledge about characters and plot, which I don;t have. Still, I enjoyed watching it.

"Lego Star Wars: The Padawan Menace" has a lot of action, bit it is more comedy oriented than action oriented. The Lego pieces are realistic, particularly the George Lucas one!

Easy the best piece of media I've ever consumed, and I've consumed a lot. I was cleaning out my room and found an old disc of the movie, I decided to pop it in my TV and my life hasn't been the same since. Everything included here, from the disc design, to the animation, sound choice, voice acting, everything you can think of, tops it all. The story is genuinely incredible, defying everything a normal story would have, and making it 100x better. I don't really know where I would be in life without it, and if you haven't watched this movie yet you are missing out on so much, and i'm not sure if you can mature as a person without it.

A forgettable short.

'LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace' is ultimately harmless, yet doesn't do anything that makes itself memorable whatsoever. There are some minorly amusing scenes with Darth Vader, but not much else. It's probably too long, even at only 22mins, too.
