The movie hits the spot. It is showing Polish society in a comedian style and probably will not be well understood by out of Poland audience as subtitles misinterprete the dialogue, let's not forget about Polish sense of humour. I know that it's hard to understand for foreigners.

The movie really explores Polish mentality so again it's kind of caricature od middle aged, wealthy group of society, lost in their own hypocrisy, fake modesty and honesty.

So, if do not know the Polish culture don't try to rate it, just watch it. The acting is pretty good and chracters well chosen for their roles. Enjoy!

I have so much to say after watching this movie.

Movie starting is good, but soon fails to give anything hilarious comedy.

With budget of netflix, movie had lot of potential, but it seemed that it is more of social message than a comedy movie.

Main character couldn't do anything till end, it could have been so fun movie but maybe director wanted to just send a message to all rather than a entertaining movie.

Other characters were good in acting but director had nothing for them sadly, and all were just doing boring stuff during whole movie.

I wasted my 2 hours on this nonsense.

Don't believe trailer of this movie, there is nothing in it.

I know it's Kindergarten, so no pun intended is more than apt in this case. It works always, but more so here. Talking of working: our adults here do not seem to do the best job. Well unless you count their contribution to the comedy and the movie itself of course.

That all said, the movie and the performances are quite decent. They all lead to a sort of climax - a standoff too. Overall I reckon it is predictable - I also believe that there are nuances here (story and character wise), that are especially clear to polish audiences ... a connection others may not have I'd say. And that is ok - still the movie can be fun, if you let it guide you ... now you get a treat from one of the adults too (who behave like children a lot of the time too of course)

Christmas good ol' yuie comedy its not a hit, its a vast mess of ironical polish understatement humour, that im sure will score a mighty fine homerun among the poles , not further north, west , south nor east of the kaliningrad enclave.

I'm sure its a witty movie, but speaking at the shootrate of a gatling gun on a language thats more slavic than the great slave lake, a language that differs so huge on the diphtongs from my own norwegian, its hard to say where the fun spot is.

But its a film about concerned adults/parents meeting at the kindergarten to plan the yulecrib play that shall be performed for x-mas...

if you have an ear for languages or have time to spare its all there for you. Its just not funny thinks the grumpy old man, even though the cast does a nice job, its too plat and flat.

The film is deep and quite often irritating. And I don't really know what it was because I had a deep sense of describing reality as it is. Experience life, feel the motivation, various dependencies, passing on, sharing knowledge. As if the whole reality was described in one stupid Polish comedy, where it's about the struggle to raise a child and the proper performance of this task.

Well acted, with an even pace and twists, a film that exceeded with its ambitions what I am used to seeing in the cinema.

Don't be fooled by initial irritation, this movie is like life and the only real reward is knowledge.
