This is a sensitive depiction of a woman struggling with dissociative identity disorder. On Valentines Day, she prepares dinner for her boyfriend, and we meet her different parts. Instead portraying her as a crazy side character, this story is told from _her_ perspective. It made me think of the series Casa de las Flores, which, while otherwise entertaining, features an unrealistic, harmful portrayal of a character who appears to have the same condition. Many thanks to the filmmaker for educating us all. His love for his mother (on which this short film is based) and his mother's love for him resonate.
Thank you so much for this clever and beautifully executed short film. Amongst the various Mental Health diagnoses one can receive DID, is up there with some of the highest challenges. The stigma, misunderstanding etc are horrible. It presents so differently in each person, this contributes to this. Factor in cultural, ethnic, language and refugee issues in amongst others and it's a perfect storm.
I have found that the need to "hide " your diagnosis, particularly amongst other mental health providers, deeply disturbing. I wish they would watch this film. Have shared it everywhere on my Blog. X.

Amazing film that touched me on a personal and professional level! With all the inaccurate, highly stigmatizing media portrayals of trauma and dissociation out there, this was a breath of fresh air.
Great directing, acting and not triggering like some things that depict DID. Based on a real life example of a woman living with DID as a result of childhood trauma, this film is a reminder of the brilliance of the brain and soul in all humans. I so appreciate a film that normalizes dissociation and DID as this is not rare as some would think. And all around us are incredible, talented individuals living with the superpowers of their inside family!

This film moved me so much. FINALLY there is an accurate and sensitive film about DID without the sensationalism and awful prejudices in other films. I'm a therapist with lived experience of DID, and I found it quite an emotional watch (in a good way!). To be able to share something so positive and beautiful with my clients has been awesome. Dylan and Holly, you have beautifully captured the experiences of someone with DID in a way which many have never been able to explain with words. It's helping people to be seen, and to be validated. Thank you so much for all the emotional energy and effort you have invested in this 💜
This is an amazing film, I think that everyone who has ever been curious about plurality and systems should watch it! It is moving, beautiful, and just all around an amazing thing to watch!!!!!! As someone who is part of a system, I find this a great portral, and just so well done! This film is visually pleasing, its intriguing, it keeps you interested, it makes you really feel for Rose and the other characters... it is just a wonderful watch! I sent this to some of my friends, and I showed it to my partner as well, because it is such a great way of explaining what it is like to be part of a system! My friends and partner already knew that I am part of a system, but this was a great way to offer them some insight as to what it feels like, and how it works!!!! I love this!!!!!!
