Bawaal exceeded my expectations, proving to be a delightful surprise that left a lasting impression. Nitesh Tiwari adds another feather to his directorial cap with this captivating film.
The movie's strongest aspect was undoubtedly its compelling story, which held my attention from start to finish. Nitesh Tiwari's skillful storytelling techniques kept me engaged, and the well-crafted narrative unfolded beautifully on screen.
One of the highlights of Bawaal was Varun Dhawan's genuine and heartfelt acting. He effortlessly portrayed the character, infusing it with depth and emotion, making it easy for the audience to connect with him. Jahnvi Kapoor also left a mark with her noteworthy performance, ensuring her presence was felt throughout the entire movie.
The supporting cast, including the talented Manoj Pahwa, delivered stellar performances, adding layers of authenticity and charm.
The movie's impact was such that it deserves a theatrical release.

The story of a couple having issues after the bride gets epilepsy attack on her wedding day. Since the groom is various of his social status he distances away from her. When he is on the verge of losing his job as a teacher he plans an educational trip to the countries at the center of world war 2. How they both bond with each other and resolve their differences is the crux of the movie.
The movie has feel good factor and is clean, however not sure why there was a need to link it to world war 2 which did not make sense.
How they develop a bond during tour of europe is the crux of the movie.
The songs are ok.
Janhvi is excellent as Nisha and brings lot of sincereity and innocence to her role and is the heart of the movie.
Varun is ok.
They are well supported by Manoj and Anjuman.

Earlier I thought it's just an ordinary love story but when I started to watch I was hooked with the creativity shown in this movie. I will not say that it is outstanding but this movie you can watch for different taste and will change your perspective towards things and life that is enough for today's audience. Varun Dhawan done his good job but I think most of recent movies are same if you will look back like jug jug jeeyo is the recent. Jhanvi done decent job, other characters also have a good impact in this family drama but I will only give credit to director who have tried different and out come is good.
**Love story but with different angle**

With a usual story onboard Nitesh tiwari carefully masters the art of film making with some intelligent screenplay well supported by core team of Ashwini Iyer and piyush Sharma which adds some value added human emotions that strikes straight to the heart & thanks to 2nd world war without which this project is just another "BAWAAL"
Mithesh mirchandani handles the visual grandeur for what it requires for a romedy flick while charu shree editing does a crispy work that keeps the soul of the movie flowing at a study pace...
After a great work of "DANGAL" & underdog "CHICCHHORE" this flick does take a scenic route which is a Zara atke type for Nitesh movie but doesn't disappoint ...
Overall it gets u a Midas touch to find happiness of what u have which concludes a strong recommendation for a typical ott movie based on expenses we spend on a single movie these days.
When we think about Bollywood romance, flashes of classic SRK movies with vivid visuals and over-the-top caricatures immediately spring to our minds. However, the stylisation and the overall approach have evolved drastically and gradually moulded into a more relevant shape keeping our modern-day lifestyle and civilisation in mind. Albeit, the gist has remained identical. And thus, making every other romantic feature somewhat alike to some extent.
"Bawaal" attempts to break out of that norm!
While it uses some well-established tropes & cliches to lay the foundation of the lead couple, the kind of parallels it draws afterwards to build that relationship further is quite unmatched. Tracing way back to the horrific events of the Second World War, the story puts lots of effort to symbolise the difficulties and dilemmas of our minds to that of a time of absolute horror when all participating nations of the War and their innocent people went through inconceivable hardship and misfortune.
They endured Pain which is beyond comprehension.
Now such comparisons may come across as naive & pretentious to some people, and that is completely understandable cause it looks like Nitesh Tiwari (the director) wanted to tone down the actual severity of the circumstances so that his work could be widely accessible, thus resulting in a byproduct that lacks mandated sincerity and fervour.
Nevertheless, the tender chemistry between Varun and Janhvi made my two hours worthwhile. And I like that they both were committed to their roles and played their respective parts with utmost honesty and conviction and thereby making it one of the most interesting pieces of work coming from Bollywood.
