Entertaining in a weird sort of way. Good acting and funny movie but ending is a letdown.

It's subtle, never smug, and that's rare. The women? Striking, yes, but not just visually - they deliver lines like scalpel cuts, supporting the script's dry, twisted rhythm to perfection. Buttwhistle is a quiet triumph of weird, intelligent cinema that doesn't dumb itself down for anyone, and rewards careful viewers with hidden gems throughout.
