A fantastic short film. It's a film worth watching on the basis of its cinematographic beauty alone! Each shot is a true work of art, it is evident that each composition and mise-en-scene was meticulously planned with the framing of the camera in mind. The versatile use of light and shadow against the characters' faces results in several interesting and engaging shots. What I loved most was the way the film stimulated the senses in its presentation of the natural environment and the way in which the characters interact with it. The stunning and refreshing images at the beginning leave you feeling as though you just took a refreshing plunge into the water.

Tell me if you understood this without reading up on anything before or after you've seen this. If you didn't read anything about this short see if it matches the description. I was extremely confused by this short film. None of it would have made sense if the director wasn't there afterwords to fill in the entire story. It's as if the audience was to have known what these two peoples story was from some magical burst of knowledge from sitting down and had been there to watch a couple minutes of their time shown on the screen. Word to the writer, don't assume anything. I in the audience did not see anything on the screen that was in the description. Nothing. I was confused the whole time and was wondering when I was going to be able to see some sort of beginning, middle and end. Its cool if this was part of a feature, and the feature was actually attached to this film. You left us hanging, which in most cases is a good thing, but you left us hanging the whole film; and it caused me to write this review.
