Imagine an episode of Bluey but take away all the fun you can, you get that, it is not a series that stands out much, has a color palette that is very similar to Bluey, and with some moments that are not memorable in any way, the first chapter was long and eternal, and had an air that they wanted to emphasize many times that it is an American series. Continuing with the theme of style, the backgrounds used in the house have a great similarity with Bluey, an example is the dining room that uses almost the same color for the walls, in general I would not give another chance to this series. 1/10.

Thought it might look entertaining after seeing the change in design from the early initial reveal so we tried it out. My 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son tried for an episode an a half before asking for something else. They clearly weren't feeling it and my wife and I weren't either. There's no soul and they made the dad seem rather doltish, and not in the *fun, you can tell he's just being a dad/this is a kids show* sort of way(though as an engineering dad that might be a personal thing that I'm nitpicky about). It's just bland. We tried again the next day but my daughter almost immediately wanted Gabby's Dollhouse instead and my son asked for Bluey. In general it just doesn't have the same weight as shows made nowadays with lessons for both the kids and parents. My daughter and son have had outstanding growth emotionally and intellectually watching various other cartoons, and this honestly just feels like junk food for their growth.
10/10, would never recommend.

Probably closer to 8/10, but I have to offset all the ridiculous reviews. Decent cartoon. My kid likes it. Me and my wife like it. It definitely does not seem like a Bluey knock off, It is its own thing. Do we like Bluey better...yes, Bluey is awesome, but we have watched every episode well more than 10 times now, and even found the Australian exclusive episodes online, so it is just nice that there is another show that is just as wholesome and safe to watch. Who doesn't want that?! If you try to compare it apples to apples to Bluey, you'll most likely be disappointed, just like any children's cartoon when compared to Bluey, but if you view it as a stand alone kids show, it's better than the majority of children shows that are out there right now.

I love Bluey. It's a fun show with moments that have stuck with me and reminds me of my childhood. I definitely do not think Chip Chilla however is a rip off. It uses a similar artistic design, i.e pretty candy colored characters and backgrounds. So many kids shows and movies have similar looking art styles, I'm just glad they chose to imitate the anesthetically pleasing 2-D and not some ugly 3-D blob-y looking characters. It is slice of life focused like Bluey, but for families that homeschool and have a more "traditional" home life this show is more relatable. Each episode focuses on good time honored values, but is not political at ALL. Just involved parents, three siblings figuring things out, often presented through the frame of classic literature. It's its own thing, my kids love it, and I enjoy it too! Bluey does well at its thing, and Chip Chilla does well at its own. I genuinely find it funny and well written and i'm not someone who can deal with kids shows that aren't. It is way better than some of the shlock on Disney+ like Spidey and his Amazing friends, puppy dog pals, etc. I am pretty sure people who so strongly dislike this show just do because they don't like Ben Shapiro or because they think it will somehow negatively impact Bluey which is silly. If you don't care for this show that's fine, but it really is not soulless like some people are saying it is.

Cartoons have been imitating each other since the beginning of animation. While Chip Chilla has many similarities to Bluey (strong family themes, focus on play, animation style, music, even layouts) it's not a carbon copy. The Chilla family spends more time making literary classics accessible to children in an appropriate way. The parents homeschool their children, so there are more concrete lessons in each episode.
Many reviews claim this is a "Bluey ripoff." And it is. Chip Chilla is clearly an attempt to capture that lightning in a bottle that makes Bluey fantastic. But is that a bad thing? Hollywood does this all the time, but their formula is lackluster, at best.
Chip Chilla, in contrast, is a fun show the whole family can enjoy, just like Bluey. And if there's another show trying to be another Bluey, that's fine by me.

Chip Chilla, a character known for their cheerful disposition and upbeat attitude, has unfortunately fallen short in several crucial aspects. While initially marketed as a relatable and endearing addition to the animated world, the execution of this character leaves much to be desired.
Firstly, Chip Chilla's character development lacks depth and complexity, rendering them one-dimensional and predictable. The repetitive nature of their optimistic persona fails to exhibit any significant growth or internal conflict, making it challenging for audiences to form a genuine emotional connection.
Furthermore, Chip Chilla's storyline often veers into cliché territory, following a formulaic trajectory that fails to offer any surprises or innovative narrative twists. The lack of originality and creative risk-taking diminishes the character's potential impact, leaving viewers disengaged and unenthused.
Additionally, the voice acting associated with Chip Chilla lacks the necessary nuance to bring the character to life. The delivery often comes across as monotonous and uninspired, failing to capture the essence of the character and contribute to a truly immersive viewing experience.
Overall, Chip Chilla's underdeveloped character, predictable storyline, and uninspiring voice acting result in a lackluster portrayal that fails to leave a lasting impression. With a more dynamic approach to character development and a fresh, engaging narrative, Chip Chilla could have been a far more compelling and memorable addition to the animated world.
As a conservative, hardworking Canadian, I cannot in good conscience recommend this show to anyone looking to watch it with their children or grandchildren.

No surprise it's review score is low. It's a copy, a blatant grab -for-cash copy. Pathetic.
This is an obvious carbon copy at work with a lazy twist on the plot. The issue isn't about being a kid show, or that it's "just a fun little show" it's about taking someone's idea and style and blatantly trying to cash in. This show is a perfect example of someone seeing a successful show and getting dollar signs on their eyes. Hopefully at the end of the the shows flops and hopefully not too many views become invested in it.
The colours, the family dynamic, the spirit and feel are direct carbon copies of a successful show developed by others who had the imagination and put in the effort to get it going when they're was nothing like it. Lazy carbon copy mercenaries.

There is a episode where a character called "Buck" shows Chip Chilla his garage which is very similar to Bandit's room as he is an archelogoist, Why did they make this show. I think the animation is poorly made, Chip also sounds like Bluey which makes no sense at all because Bluey's voice actor is in Australia while this show is in USA. The music is too similar to bluey's theme song, My Brother thinks that Ludo Studio made this. THEY SHOULD SUE THE CREATORS, This was just like miracle star which is worse than this rip off, No need to find oit why i need to see this annoying show. But, why was this show made? I would like to find out!

You Can copy the music and copy the animation style, but you can't capture the magic that is Bluey. This show is boring and quite sexist. There's mansplanning and women are taught to stay in the kitchen while the men wait for their dinner. If fathers care about their daughters don't let them watch this unless they are okay with their daughters being later treated like servants by their spouse. Always watch tv shows before showing to.you kids. Next time create something original cause it is apparent that they were very limited on ideas. Also for those saying "it's a kids show and not for adults" imply that kids need dumbed down television.

Before I heard it was made by ben shapiro, I heard this was a bluey knockoff. I thought that was unfair to judge a show on, and since I work with kids who love bluey everyday, I thought I'd give it a try and diversify their experience. I always watch things before I show the kids, so I found a free version and watched the first few episodes.
Not only is this incredibly boring, but I was shocked at the misinformation and dysfunctional family. I was uncomfortable by how they approached most topics, and it all seemed like it was made to be rude to the left.
It's not a bluey knockoff, unfortunately. It's just a bad show about talking animals. It does not teach maturity, safety, healthy family dynamics, or even have relatable comedy. It's just boring, sad, and lackluster. You'd be better off watching paint dry.

Sure this show could have gotten a 7 or 8. But just the fact that it got all the NPCs to bomb it tells me this is even better than my first impressions.
Bentkey is knocking it out of the park! An autistic 5 year who is HARD to impress has been enjoying each episode. Even his mom and I are getting sucked into these stories and get a chuckle way more often than we thought we would.
The family dynamics are truly great! When I was younger, I would have absolutely seen myself in Chip and found him to be the most relatable. But as a parent, I'm actually relating to the mom and dad in this show and get more laughs out of the creative things they come up with for their kids.

The show its obviously a really bad copy of Bluey. Do you really want to watch this boring series, or are you just very curious? Because if you are just very curious, this series is just a lazy waste of time, don't give any kind of support to this show, don't even try to search for it on the web to watch it for free, it's not worth it, boring series, lack of charisma in the series in general, and just conservative garbage in general. Better support Bluey by looking at it on legal sites, if you can't, that's fine, you can help it with a good score on this website and give the popularity to the charismatic adorable and healthy family of dogs that they deserves.

This isn't even fun to watch. It's nothing short of bland and a ripoff. I barely even watch kids' cartoons anymore, but I know a ripoff when I see one. Some of the shows I loved and enjoyed as a kid, ex Gumball and Bluey, have been copied in the worst way possible. I have never been a big fan of ripoffs - the exact reason I never watch them.
There are even videos on YouTube that backup my statements that Chip Chilla is a cheap copy of Bluey. Plus, others who have watched the show claim it's not even fun to watch. That's what ripoffs are: Boring copies of another amazing show. Do you wanna know how mad this freaking makes me?!

I swear I'll be previewing every cartoon my kids watch from now on AND the service it streams on. I was excited to see a new children's show backed by public figure me and my family support.
Nothing against Bluey, but I wanted something closer to our family's personal values and it was similar enough visually. The reviews on here were promising, the kids loved it and from what I would hear in the background, it sounded perfectly fine. I thought it was a perfect addition to the kid's tv time, but what do I get? A sudden influx of back-talk and attitude.
The kids are louder, more irritable, and started picking fights with each other more frequently. Both me and my husband were startled by this random development but it didn't take long for us to catch on and see they started imitating/mimicking the characters. I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt but it didn't get better no matter what we tried, so we have to pull the plug on Chip Chilla.
This is my own fault, I'm picky with the media my children consume and I immediately picked this up based on Bentkey's marketing.
Worst mistake ever, don't even get me started on the nightmare that it is to try and cancel your subscription, you literally cannot cancel it on your own- there are no options, you have to contact customer support. Trust me, your kids aren't missing much with this. It's not worth the headaches.

This Bluey Ripoff feels more like a Peppa Pig ripoff!!!! The characters are bad, the animation's awful, the voice acting is awful!! If Ludo Studio saw this, i think they should sue the creators!!! Especially Ben Shapiro!!! As a Bluey fan, I am so shocked that this exists!!! Let alone offended by the designs!!! Also the mom in the show is a very bad mom, she's annoying, bland & unoriginal!! Also, the episodes writing make no sense & the parents are very bad parents!! So bad, I'd call child protective services on them!!! If there's anyone who would actually make fanart of this show, they need therapy.

To those critiquing it from an adult perspective... why?
It's a show for kids!
As a kids show it excels! It's full of fun approachable healthy lessons and fun historical or cultural backdrops that help to introduce kids to important ideas that are COMPLETELY ignored by all modern culture.
To those giving one star because you hate the DailyWire, thanks for showing how tolerant you actually are of other people with differing perspectives.
Chip Chilla is not political, it is simply American, and in a great way. Optimistically dabbling in key historical moment and cultural landmarks, and keeping a fun fast pace for kids!
Imagine a show that talks to modern kids about how cool the space age was and makes a fun little episode about it, all other kids shows are focused on pointless goofyness or aren't appropriate with political content baked in!
Could it get better? Of course! But for kids it's great.

Honestly this is bluey but with a much more conservative view on it. It takes all the fun and the actual message of bluey, chews it up, poops it out and then sees what made it through before taking it's own spin on the remnants.
It's incredibly upsetting that the creator (ben Shapiro) would use something that could have been so lovely to push his own ideals onto the younger audience he is targeting here.
Let children be children and enjoy things that bring colour and or life lessons into their lives, do not push political or societal ideals on to our next generation.
Allow them to make their own choices and decide what they will do with their lives as kind and as loving as possible. Children should be supported and educated fairly and freely so that they may understand EVERY side of the story.
This show does NOT do that.

I feel like ive seen this show before. The music. The colors. The family dynamic. All similar to Bluey but with a horrible story line and a feeling of a toxic family. They father is wearing a headset for God's sake. In Bluey it's obvious the parents are hard workers but the emphasis on family time in Bluey is not rushed. The chin chilas are basically just an "american dream" family but are overworked suckers in a rat race. Poorly done and just a rip off of a truly iconic show with zero fun or good story line. Bluey teaches kids about deep emotional feelings and connections. This show is just stupid. Now imagine introducing your kids to this garbage when Bluey already exists.

My 8 and 6-year-old daughters started watching it this past week and love it so much! Even my 10-year-old has been caught watching it with his sisters and can barely tear himself away. It's a super cute, fun, and light-hearted show that we all have enjoyed watching. There are simple lessons (and a bit of history and literature, too!) included in each episode and it doesn't feel preachy or pushy. There are great characters that are super relatable for my children. My only complaint is that BentKey isn't a standalone app that I can put directly on my Smart TV or Amazon fire TV stick; I have to screen share from my phone or tablet. Overall it is a great show and I'm looking forward to many more seasons!

Why i think this is becuase they want to make bluey not a show anymore but bluey is so much beeter then chip chilla and the show should go away for good. And i should say that they are coping them bad if the bbc finds out they will most likely take the show down i would think anyways bluey is so good that one of the bluey episodes got like a 9.4 out of 10 stars shows that bluey is so much better. And i think bluey would last forever as a bluey fan i love the show and it should never stop i just love the show so much that i even watch it in school when i have no homework is just a good show in overall.

Bluey was been around since 2018 till now 2023, unfortunately their is a new Ripoff of this show "Chip Chilla" it has the same animation, same storyline, etc Chip Chilla is the worst Ripoff of the classic Bluey and we all can tell it's been ripped off. It has NO educational value like Bluey does for example Bucky (A grouchy rabbit) tries to follow Chip around after he breaks one of his garage sale items then after he finally catches up to him he shows Chip his garage saying he wants to "Show him something" if anything this show is trying to teach little kids to do the wrong thing by following a complete stranger instead of the right thing like Bluey does. If I had to choose between these 2 preschool shows I would definitely choose Bluey. Chip Chilla is so unoriginal and they where even lazy enough to make Chip Blue like Bluey. I do not recommend Chip Chilla AT ALL, but I do recommend Bluey it is the safer option and will teach your kids things unlike this Ripoff.

This cartoon is a blatant copy of Bluey, but it is not funny. The show is in incredibly bad compared to many other better shows, heck, even something as abysmal and bad as Peppa Pig is better than this extremely bad show, I hate it so badly, it makes me want to gorge my eyes out because of how bad this kids show is. The music is absolutely horrible, and the animations look like they were animated by literal babies, in short, this is the very worst cartoon ever, I hate it for real, because it is the worst because the chinchillas constantly squabble, and sound so weird compared to more reputable cartoons. Piece of garbage™

I am surprised to see such negative reviews! I understand people being upset that it's like Bluey, but that is exactly why we like it! Another show that's fun and has good life lessons is great! I am so grateful to have good options of shows to watch with my kids that have will have age appropriate lessons for them to learn from. I find there is great comedy for adults as well. My kids love dancing to the music and I am glad to have another show that they can watch that will teach good moral values. I hope everyone else can see that this is a good show even if it is similar to Bluey! Thank you Chip Chilla!

Its great to have a show that teaches morals in an entertaining way. So many shows are just about pure mindless entertainment that having an alternative is refreshing. There is nothing overly political about the lessons it teaches either. Episode one teaches about tattling. Episode two is about considering others first and episode 4 is about being appreciative for your parents. Nothing divisive or controversial there at all!
The art style is both fun and colorful. This show has taken a lot of criticism for using a very similiar art style to Bluey. Kind of a silly critique considering how many cartoons look like other cartoons.
Lastly my kids really enjoyed it. The six year old liked it more than my eleven year old but even the eleven year old was entertained. Ignore the one and two star reviews. If someone told me they thought this was a middle of the road type of show, I could see where they are coming from. However there is nothing that bad about the show.
