Pointless movie-length recap

That's really all this movie is. The description of "This film is an alternate perspective version of the first Gantz film from an investigative journalists point of view" makes it sound like this is going to be something new, some new take on the events of the first film literally from a new perspective, but it's almost all just clips directly from the first film stitched together by the framing device of this random journalist guy. This is not a "new perspective", it's just a glorified clip show. Why does this have this high of a rating on here? Why would anyone want to watch a recap of a movie that is AS LONG AS A MOVIE? Why not just WATCH THE MOVIE? There are a few minutes of new scenes, but not enough to justify sitting through the same movie twice.

Another Gantz, Another Perspective

In this sequel, the narrative unfolds primarily through the lens of an investigative journalist, offering a fresh perspective on the ongoings. The narrative also addresses the lives of other pivotal characters. The film continues to dazzle with its stunning sci-fi action sequences and a deep dive into existential themes surrounding life, death, and the human experience, building upon the visual spectacle of its predecessor. Given that the storytelling does tend to become repetitive at times, it may not fully satisfy all fans of the franchise. Still, it does succeed in unraveling some of the lingering mysteries left unanswered in the original film, adding layers of intrigue to the overarching storyline.
