everyone is so ready to bash this zombie film. are they looking for the next Titanic? comon, it's a B-film. One location, b-actors, best-equipment-they-can-get for their budget, and a beautiful pornstar. this was on Netflix instant streaming so when i selected, i knew i was watching a low-budget comedy horror film. I watched it with a smile on my face ready to laugh or be amused. i didn't know who Alexis was, but did some research, and now i know. i have to admit, there were some scenes where she did a good job acting. Some scenes, not so much, but it was the script that asked too much from her. I think she will be a good actress over time, with clothes on. the other actors did the best they could to deliver comedy in a scary situation, that's all. death doesn't matter, comedy does. okay, so there wasn't much to the story, but some of the writing, i have to admit, was entertaining, like the shoot out between the sleezy guy and temp girl. so comon people, just enjoy fun mindless entertainment and not demand Gladiator. And comon, you got to see Alexis!

The first thing I noticed about this film was the terrible acting, especially from the man who plays Bobby Lee (Robert Heath). But once you adjust to that (if you need to adjust), the movie is really quite fun. It is clear that the point of it all is to be a horror comedy, perhaps in a similar vein as "The Janitor". And while few films can reach the level of "The Janitor", this one has its moments.
I need to talk about Alexis Texas' breasts (and more). I did not know who Texas was going into this film. I am more of a Dani Woodward fan. But as a 4-time AVN Award winner, I figured they had to showcase her talents somehow. And I was right. If you came to this movie to see Texas in action, you will get it (up to a point). Which raises an interesting question -- should porn stars going mainstream give audiences what they expect (like here) or try to really show their acting chops (like Marilyn Chambers in "Rabid", for example)?
Texas says, "I really learned a lot from this experience." I am very curious what that would be. I suspect a low-budget film is not much different than porn. A bit more acting, and you get doused in fake blood, but otherwise what was there to learn? Maybe that you can call something "champagne" even though it is Andre brand? Or that the classic "Girl From Ipanema" in the elevator joke never fails to make me laugh?
The best part of the film for me was the temp, played by Lauren Todd. I did not care much for her potty mouth, but she was quirky and spiced the film up. She was unconventionally cute and just had emotion and spunk that the other characters did not have. She makes me, a former philosophy major, wonder, do rent-a-cops have a "duty" or "moral obligation" to kill zombies? I would say no.
Why did the film give thanks to the Foo Fighters? Maybe this is something better left unknown.

The only reason this film is getting 1 star is because there is no option for 0 stars.
Do not waste any time watching this movie, the performances are just horrendous, script is just 'eugh'. Sometimes I wonder why people decide to even make films like this and waste $75k. I understand Alexis Texas is supposed to be a famous porn star no offense but she should stick to that industry.
There are two reasons someone might watch this; 1. To inflict self torture. 2. To put themselves to sleep.
I know this review is harsh and I probably would not have wrote this review but I feel it is my duty to humanity to prevent innocents souls from being inflicted with the torture that is 'Bloodlust Zombies'.

I can't really see, other than the awful camera angles and even worse acting, where they spent any of the $75,000 budget on this "film".
This piece of cinematic garbage reminds me of most porn I've seen "professionally" made since the 1990's - very little substance, horrible props, stock footage, cheesy acting, and the worst soft-core grinding I've viewed since the old Cinemax movies of the early 1990's.
I think that since they secured the talents of Alexis Texas, porn "actress", they figures they had something to work on here. The majority of the cast have come from many other low-budget disasters and their acting chops are, let's just say, something to be desired.
Boardroom scenes in mainstream movies always look intimidating, or so in your face, the scenes here made me laugh the most - and who has cobalt blue plastic flutes sitting around for domestic champagne? To tell you any of the plot would give away pretty much everything, so I won't - let's just say if you were to take the movies Outbreak, 30 Days Later, Shaun Of The Dead and a few pieces of softcore stuff and toss them into a blender, strip them of any budget and then pour it into a DVD this would be the result.
Shoddy production values, a script with plots so old you can see the whip marks from where the last 10 owners had whipped it, combined with the "acting" talents of Alexis Texas (with the only thing she's good at: stripping down and showing off T&A) and you have a movie with worse viewing appeal than Poseidon, Waterworld and Gigli combined - and will have much less people wanting to watch this for anything except the floppy tiny "talents" of Alexis Texas.
God, what a stupid stripper name... at least everyone else in this turkey is using their 'real' names... I think...
Avoid this at all costs, no matter what they pay you to watch it for.

I only watched this movie because I am a huge fan of genre specific comedy/horror b-films. Of course all of these years in the b movie business they put porn stars such as the beautiful Alexis Texas in this flick. The camera quality is poor, not to a standard A list movie. But there have been numerous B-movies that I have seen that use better direction and film quality. The best acting is achieved by miss Texas in this film. but it still lacks the quality of good actors and production. It just seems too much like a softcore, cinemax late night pornography flick. I give miss Texas a 10/10 for her acting just because she has expeirence in the film industry. But the other actors are just horrible. I would suggest this film to an Alexis Texas fan, but other than that its a complete waste of time to watch.
