Donkey's Caroling Christmas-tacular

Dreamworks Animation show that you can flog a jiving donkey as we have Yuletide Shrek spin off with a 6 minute cartoon short.

Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and other Shrek characters sing Christmas tunes with a version of Jingle Bells, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year and Jingle Bell Rock all with the usual Shrek trimmings.

Puss in Boots sings Feliz Navidad although he titles it as Fleas Navidad.

Dreamworks brings Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Cameron Diaz and other regulars together. The animation is good and it zips along well to keep everyone in the festive spirit.

Donkey, Shrek, and all the characters from Far Far Away. come together to celebrate

the holiday season by singing classic Xmas song in funny twist it way.

I did not like this short at all, it didn't find any of the songs that funny at all, however it did have nice xmas feel to it

and the Animations was really good in this movie and voice was sound fine with moving of animation

None of song really stuck in my head, which is a really good thing,

and I going to give this movie

All he did was run over a child in his Honda Civic 2001 and was like it was a Gemini thing and was sent away for a war crime!!!!!!!! UNEPIC!!!!!! Free Donkey! DEFUND THE POLICE!!!

The DVD case for this film had a plot summary that read like this might actually be a feature length movie. I attempted to confirm this by checking the runtime which the case lists as 98 minutes.

Our family settled in for this movie and it ran for about 8 minutes. There was a Yule log video that ran about 15 minutes and was not entertainment for anyone. It's simulates wood fireplace at Shrek's place and is something one might have on in the background while doing other things around the house. The additional bonus features were lack luster and boring. And I had to constantly come back and select each one to play. The entire disc was like some bonus features disc that should have come with the feature length film I expected with the 98 min. runtime.

Sorry I ever checked this out at the library and glad I spent zero dollars on it.

The gang is having their Christmas party and Donkey is singing. Others follow in turn with their own renditions of familiar Christmas songs. While it's fun to have the gang around, there isn't any plot. It's essentially sing-along time. It's harder to get the jokes when it's in song form. It's too short to be a musical with so many songs. This won't be a classic but it's fine for a short.
