The plot: Four friends go on a hunting trip in Texas, only to run up against Chupacabra zombies.
Well, there isn't a lot to say about this film. It's pretty stupid, but I was still amused by some of the scenes. Much of the humor depends on your being an immature, easily amused film nerd. If that's you, then you might like it, too. Just be aware that it's not really action-packed or fast-moving. Despite the bizarre premise, it's not really the most original horror-comedy ever made. It clumsily adopts and mocks every cliché the writers could think of, though not on a terribly intellectual level. It's quite inhibited compared to Troma's sheer insanity and gleeful offensiveness, but there's definitely a bit of inspiration from that infamous studio.
Normally, my tolerance level for these films is quite low, but this one had just enough stupidly amusing scenes that I stuck it out. Also, I liked the end credits song. If you like this sort of nonsense, then I suggest you check out DeadHeads, another recent zombie comedy that was similar in some ways.

I know that is not a super movie but I watched last week with my gf and her sister and it took a couple good old laughs out of us and that's enough for giving this movie a good rate
the plot has holes but at least they compensate with some comedy, and goofyness, is still a better movie than some "horror" movies lately, I mean it's also a low budget movie so you know you don't have to expect a dawn of the dead in Texas, people is so demanding this days that forget that movies this simpleton can make your Friday night for a good couple of laughs, I mean the plot line is simple and it works it's way trough. The acting could be better but it is what it is, love it or hate it in my case I loved it!

4 of 10. As slow as zombies are, this film is slower. It takes a long time for the story to kick in. At the beginning, everything seems artificial, concocted. If you skip the first 5-10 minutes, or maybe just watch the prelude than skip to the part with the guy spitting, the film as a whole might be worth a curiosity watch.
It tries to be a zombie gross-out comedy, but it generally ends up spanking itself. If you can stand the thought of watching the equivalent of a made-for-TV goofy, non-scary, simply gross zombie film, you'll probably still end up biting your arm off if stuck in a theater with this. Zombie fans can safely wait for the TV release and may simply want to avoid in order to stay zombie fans.

If you're a fan of the Police Academy "school" of "comedy", especially those irresistibly funny later sequels, this should be right up your mouth-breathing alley. A comedy so hopelessly unfunny and boring that I had to finish it in several tries, including a lot of side-activities such as typing this comment while the movie was running, plus trips to the kitchen and the toilet. You need all of that (computer, food, toilet and miscellaneous) in order to sit through this garbage. Well, "sit". You don't sit through it as much as you sort of walk around the room/flat/house occasionally to help wile away the boredom.
The dialog is full of smart-alecky retorts, but on the level of 9 year-olds. Then there is a clownishly gay leader of a hick gang who speaks with a fake posh English accent, and I mention this just to give you a hint how cringe-inducingly dumb this embarrassment is.
If you don't trust my judgment, knock yourself out with this trash.

The comrades Craig Thompson (Matthew Albrecht), Jerry (Jarrod Pistilli), Lance (Isaac Harrison) and Tom Alexander (Dru Lockwood) travel to the Buck Wild Farm in Texas to spend vacation hunting deer. Soon they discover that the owner Clyde (Joe Stevens) was bitten by a Chupacabra and has infected his slut daughter Candy (Meg Cionni) and neighbors that now are zombies. Will they survive?
"Buck Wild" is a lame and unfunny comedy of horror. The screenplay (or the edition) is disconnected and senseless, and in the beginning, Clyde sees his daughter shagging with her boyfriend on the garden and he throws his pipe wrench on the head of the man. Then he is bitten by the Chupacabra and the scene is entirely forgotten. The film is so bad that after 96 minutes running time, there is no scene that makes laugh. My vote is two.
