An exceptional short film, one of those that leaves you speechless because of its incredible message of reflection. A gem among many because its narrative arc is executed in the best way, very solid, and keeps you on edge during its 9-minute duration.
"Fuelled" is a fascinating story, with great plot twists and brilliant landscapes. First and foremost, the animation should be highlighted; that aspect surprises in every scene. The color tones, the character design, the movement sequences, the line work, and those panoramas between the past and present are incredible. Thus complementing the perspective of our protagonist and what she is becoming.
All that focus on revenge, despair, suffering, the trauma of such a significant loss, true love, anguish, injustices, reasoning, and life lessons are executed excellently. This animated short film has the power to make you feel connected from the very beginning and moves you with a rather touching story.
The desire for revenge is an option that many human beings take, believing they will feel better, without considering the remorse of committing acts or engaging in activities outside their rationality for a double-edged purpose. Each of the scenes where the killer's poster is seen refers to how our protagonist is becoming the character she so fervently pursues. Taking the reflection at the end of her wrong decisions.
Another quite interesting point is demonstrating the negligence of many workers for not paying attention or exercising their safety rights in their workplaces. It is more than evident from the events of the final scene. Sadly, many accidents occur because of it.
The perspective of having everything in your life from an emotional or sentimental standpoint and then having nothing due to losses is one of the saddest feelings that people can experience. That uncertainty, fear, and trauma are the causes of misguided thoughts and actions that lead to many consequences.
From my perspective, "Fuelled" does a commendable job. Each person involved in this production is a genius at conveying impactful reflective messages that make this world of training something positive. My respects!
This animated short film is worth every second. Its musical score and sound effects are well-executed, accompanying the story at all times.

This short film is something else. The animation. Details, music and quality is so high. If you read this and have found this IMBD page in search of more you probably think the same.

Being fascinated by some shorts on Youtube, I started searching for more and came across this short animation on IMDb. Reading the storyline, the plot seem more like a typical revenge story. But it's rating and reviews convinced me to watch it. So I watched it 'till the end and I must admit, the ending caught me off guard.
The whole short animation depended on it's stunning and detailed visuals and sound quality to tell it's story. Instead of depending on languages or verbal communication, the story depended on the protagonist's emotions to progress the story. One of the most fascinating facts about it is the fact that it was done by a group of 3rd year students in Sheridan College. You can only imagine how talented those students can be and what they can do with big budget and and enough time.
I won't get much into it for the sake of not spoiling it for the future viewers but I will recommend it. Just give it a try!
