After many years, I saw a great Persian movie worth watching. I think every person in the world should see this movie if they want to know more about Iranian society and Iranian lives.

Great acting from all actors especially Pejman and Sarah.

A film about the bitter events of Iran, which is the result of the mandatory hijab.

Islam is the dirty mafia of the regime of the Islamic Republic, which has continued its dirty work for forty years and considers itself to be the representative of God. And it has achieved nothing but illiteracy, aggression, violence, brutality, and unemployment for the people of Iran. But they are indoctrinating the people as if they are living in a utopia and a dream and they are the best government of Iran... Hoping to join the bloodthirsty Islamic Republic in the dustbin of history #life_woman_freedom.

Grassland is a fascinating movie. It can be said that the audience is faced with three stories. Two stories that are before and after the main story. The first story with which the film begins is perhaps a sign of the investigator's mistake, and the second story, which is the story of a man and a woman and their daughter for whom they want a birth certificate, is perhaps a sign of the investigator's compassion. The main story, which is the basis of the film, shows the law-abiding nature of the investigator to the audience. As if I have to say again that I wish Pejman Jamshidi had not wasted his life on football and would have come to the cinema sooner. Good acting, interesting story has made Alafzar one of the acceptable movies of Iranian cinema in the last few years.

Today I went to watch this movie with my friend and what I got in the cinema is this: a very weak movie whose script is constantly struggling and does everything to keep the audience in the hall! !! (although it doesn't succeed in this task) two sub-stories and a main story that has nothing to say, bad actors, very poor and low-level acting and finally a disastrous ending 🤦 The role of investigator Pejman Jamshidi is not believable at all. Dont watch this movie.

The story was great and the acting was very good by all principal actors. From the first minute to the last the pulse of the movie was great which is rare for an Iranian movie with no wasted time. A great achivement for a first time director. I did not notice the passage of time while watching it in a movie theater which is a great sign.
