Extremely witty voiceover from Jim Sarbh makes this series quite funny. The protagonist Ray was lacking emotions in his acting. However, little bits from Rahul Bose also cracked me up. It was a fun sitcom style story set in India. Can't wait for the Season 2 specially for Wiz!
It's breezy, it's fun. It's a fast paced show. Loved the guy portraying Ray. Goofy, oddball, socially awkward and way too confused. The supporting cast was nice too. Rahul Nair's done a good job creating this breezy show. Netflix & chill it was.
This show is a one sitting binge and it's super awkward but super fun! Of course it's over the top, and the protagonist, Ray is non realistically dumb at times, but that's the whole point of comedy. I loved the absurd humor of the show that kept me laughing most of the times. Even if I wasn't laughing I was smiling just watching how random and absurd the things that keep happening are. The way it concludes is sort of satisfying too, so if it's cancelled I wouldn't mind.
Jim Sarbh's Wiz is written really well and he delivers dialogues so effortlessly that I never minded them cutting to Wiz's keychain or poster (or statue). Vihaan Samat's Ray and Wiz's chemistry is pretty good too (although they are the same person in the show). Rahul Bose and Suchitra Pillai as Ray's parent's are an absolute delight to watch! I hope Rahul Bose does more of such roles.
The target audience for this show is probably everyone of Ray's age (~25) or younger (that is, later millennials - Gen Z) so when you see IMDb flooded with comments of it not being "relatable" you have to ask yourself if it is really for you. I, being from this age group had a blast watching it.

This series had everything it needed to be a funny adult series from a India prospective but the ridiculous writing killed it and that happens early, so many funny lines and so many beautiful women who can actually act but they kept doubling down on stupid and nothing ever matures, you would think someone would step in and tell the writer to make a change.
Chanced upon this one and got hooked up in an instant! The story takes us into the life of a socially awkward boy who is in search of a partner. The show is funny. The episodes are short and well written. The episodes will keep you hooked. I finished the first season in one go. The story doesn't become tiring at any point! You would find certain jokes too funny. Something fresh!
