Nice stories.
Realistic and very relatable.
All stories are unique, some a little offbeat but worth watching Individual stories, woven together at the end.
Would love to watch more of these.

What an ensemble of talented actors and directors! Heartily created stories...beautifully rendered. Many moments from the series touch a nerve...many scenes take us back to the fond memories lived in the lanes of Mumbai. Do watch once.
Modern Love: Mumbai is a retelling of the NYT's original Modern Love which is based on modern love stories based in New York. This is in fact more than just a retelling. It is an Indianised (and also Mumbaiya) version which not only delve deeper into the romance aspects but also the human and family emotions which Indian stories are known for.
The stories range from subtle new age romance in 'I Love Thane' to the gullible extravaganza of 'Raat Rani'. On one hand we have these taboo breaking yet already heavily experimented love stories in 'Baai' and 'My Beautiful Wrinkles' while on the other hand we have totally refreshing and unique storytelling like 'Mumbai Dragon'.
This series not only celebrates the new age romance but also portrays the repurcussions that love can have when that love is set in a cosmopolitan setup like Mumbai.
My absolute favourites are 'I Love Thane' for its simplistic approach to love, it is a signature Dhruv Sehgal romance, and Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Mumbai Dragon' for telling such a different story from the rest.

The stories are so real that you feel connected to each character at some level. A soothing and engrossing series. Modern Love is actually a group of stories of us and the people around us. People who love to live in denial of modern concepts of live might find it absurd. However, everyone should watch it to get a perspective on the modern society.

Episode 1 : Raat Rani, Fatima Sana Shaikh nails it, we can feel her freedom and happiness
Episode 2 : Baai - Such a beautiful chemistry between Tanuja and Pratik Gandhi. Ranjveer Brar is brilliant too. The lovemaking scenes were a bit awkward.
Episode 3 : Mumbai Dragon . The best Episode according to me. So different and unique in its storytelling with such brilliant performances by Nasseruddin Shah, Meiyang Chang, Wamiqa Gabbi and Yann Yann Yeo. Vishal Bharadwaj directs beautifully and Anurag Kashyap cameo is the icing on the cake Episode 4 : Sarika and her exuberance of youth She looks effortlessly beautiful at this age and such a bold subject has been handled so gracefully by Alankrita Shrivastava.
Episode 5: Masaba Gupta is so natural in front of the camera and the story is so breezy and sweet.
Episode 6 : Arshad Warsi exudes such charm and he is so natural in this role. The chemistry he shares with Chitaraganda Singh is awesome. It's a relatable and practical story of a couple that carries on irrespective of their differences.
Such a beautiful show and I'm surprised no one is talking about it.
