The main character is perhaps suave and knowledgeable of things in and around the wines of France. The characters are engaging and personable. And, if you enjoy the business of wine-making, you may very well enjoy this series. The main character is suave and knowledgeable of things in and around the wines of France, especially all that enters the wine-making process, starting with the earth in which the vines are planted, to the tasting and composition of wines of quality. The character is noted among the most reputable critics, he authors books, and is often a guest-speaker on the subject of wine-making.
