Once again, we have the idea that life is kind of a loop. We repeat our actions and our emotions and our feelings are sort of cosmic. A man waits by the side of the road, standing by his Plymouth, drinking a bottle of soda. A woman drives up and talks to him. She is looking for "Lots of love." She is fixated on his bottle cap and other littering stuff. She hands him a box, wrapped up in strapping tape, like it has been damaged. They throw the box into a trunk full of similar boxes. Draw your own collusions.

This is another film that contends that there are archetypal events that repeat themselves. The characters here repeat their actions, giving love in their own way. A man waits by his Plymouth, drinking a soda. A woman arrives in another car and they interact. Gifts are exchanged and after a time a loop appears to be in force.

He was the basic motif for me to see this short film. and the motif was a good one. because "Love, Lots of It"is a beautiful parable about gift, chance, significance on a meet and the resourcefull past. it is an usefull film. for a romance type who escapes from ordinary definition, for impecable performances, for the bitter taste of story, for soda bottles and for a box near another. sure, for an admirer like me it is easy to write - it is the film of Campbell Scott. as a sort of guardian angel or matchmaker. but he is not the only motif for you see the film. because, after its end, a strange and nice state of soul remains its precious gift.
