Sandokan, Yanez, Kamamuri and Marianne shipwrecked and fall into the hands of pirates. While Sandokan and Yanez are to be fed to sharks, and Marianne and Kamamuri remain on board. The Pirates are planning to sell them to the Sultan of Varuni.

After a further confrontation with the men of the governor Sandokan is washed up unconscious on the beach. Marianne, the niece of the governor, rescues him and hiding him in the palace, where he is, however, discovered and arrested. The governor wants to execute him.

Brooke governor has promised his niece Marianne dumb Guillonk Lord for his wife. Since Sandokan and Marianne have fallen in love, Sandokan is working hard to prevent the wedding.

Shelmeena, the daughter of the Sultan, has been abducted. Bound hand and foot, she's about to be sacrificed when another villain urges her captor to deliver to the rule of Delhi who wants the prisoner as a bargaining chip and will pay handsomely to have her delivered. Sandokan and his friends join the sultan to search for his daughter. They trace her to caves beneath a temple. While they search underneath, Serama, Sandokan's girlfriend is captured and bound hand and foot, while her friends are caught in several death traps. A talking parrot unties her ropes and the plucky heroine manages to rescue our heroes. Meanwhile the baddies make their escape taking the sultan's daughter with them.

Governor Lord Brooke gives Guillonks and Marianne's marriage known. He knows that the pirate will do everything possible to prevent the wedding. Secretly hopes the governor, Sandokan this opportunity finally to be able to capture.
