A Very Indie Film Looking (traditionally shaky cam ) and long Drawn out moments once you prepare and can get past that it's a half Decent movie

.I thought it was going to be funny but it's more Dramatic it's quite a sad movie if I'm honest a constant Feeling of despair and failure but not a bad watch you've got to be emotionally ready for it in my opinion

I remember as a child the Billboard sitting contest the occurred in the valley. This movie allowed me to remember that fond memory of watching as my mother and I drove by them on the way to the mall. I really enjoyed the story and loved that many local back drops that were used. The product placement in the movie made the scenes more relatable and authentic. The characters were realistic and believable. I plan to see Zeke Zelkers other movies, In Search Of, and Loggerheads in the near future.

Honestly some of the reviews here are crazy harsh.

I don't understand the complaints regarding the camera movement when a lot of the camera movements were actually solid and on a tripod. I have seen films with much less story and bland nonsense like Personal Shopper, Under the Skin etc get far more praise than this. I thought this was a good little indie movie in-between true solid indie and amateur filmmaking. However I do feel they did waste Eric Roberts, who isn't given really much to do in this film.

It's sad that this film didn't do any better and I feel it deserved a lot better, critically and financially wise. It's now relegated to being free on YouTube.

I personally enjoyed this movie a good amount and I thought that the actor portraying Casey was absolutely the highlight of the film. He really put everything into this role and really made me feel for him. He was a complicated character which I liked. He was neither good nor bad. He was just desperate and probably his actions were motivated by grief.

I watched this movie knowing about the history about what happened and living a mile from the actual billboard. The acting was ok, but I just didn't have any feelings for the characters. When the people that went up on the billboard were shown very little and that's what I thought this movie was about. Apparently there's a web series about them but I just don't want to invest time into all of this. I will say the shots of the LV were very nice and shows the area well. The rest it just felt like it could've been a 30 min tv show if they cut all the filler out

Not discuss about the storyline, good or bad is subjective but I just got all the feeling watching a tv show the whole time. Not movie quality at all.
