    An underrated gem!

This game is pretty incredible for managing to blend a 3rd person shooter with a fast paced strategy action game! I highly recommend playing this game for the fun gameplay alone.

Story: Without spoiling too much; the game is set in tower like city called Bazel and revolves around Lianne- a young woman who tried to take her own life but is rescued by a young man named Zephyr. She now lives together with him and his guardian Vasheron; the three work as mercenary guns for hire. They perform odd jobs and special missions for Bazels elite, but things change when Zephyr and Liannes dark pasts catch up to them.

The game is chalked full of enjoyable adult humor and yet still manages to deliver some emotional gut punches. There is much to explore and unlock including guns, monsters and new areas. But the most impressive thing about this game is its radical approach to costumes and wearable outfits that the player can unlock. There are a tonne of shirts, dresses, hair dye, shoes and even contact lenses to change eye color. The player gets to buy and unlock outfits to match their mood and appearance even during a cutscene! Plus if you're feeling bored of the story there's always the battle arena.

The graphics are good. The voice acting is worthy of praise and the character design is great. The story is interesting despite being a bit difficult to grasp at first, but will not disappoint. The gameplay will keep you hooked to the very end.

This role playing game features lots of shooting and a very likable trio.

This game looked interesting when I saw a trailer for it on amazon. I bought it and I have to say it was one very interesting and different role playing game. I also have to say that it was the best role playing game I played this year and that includes Final Fantasy XIII which I also found to be a very enjoyable game. I thought the fighting in this one trumped that one and the fact this one had so many strange and unique qualities. I only give it a nine though because it also ran to long and the story was a bit confusing. I mean it was different and interesting, but after I won the game I had a lot of questions and there were many that were left unanswered. The story has a gun for hire named Vashyron and his two young assistants, as it were, Leanne and Zephyr. You see how he met Zephyr during a scene before you even start the game and Leanne is introduced after you start playing the game. They do odd jobs here and there for people and the ones that are usually the most important are given to you by this people who are cardinals who live in Chandelier. You see in this world you live on this strange clock like tower that is very immense. When I first read about this game I thought it was going to be kind of on the short side, but this is most certainly not the case. This place is very expansive. The fighting is different in this one too. It features guns, which is not unique, but the way it plays out is. It is a combination of turn and real time and you use a machine gunner to inflict something called scratch damage which is not fatal to the enemy and pistols that inflict direct damage which is. It is a bit hard to get a handle on it at first and I found myself killed by rather wimpy characters at first as you have to watch this one gauge and the characters hit points. You also have the ability to dress your characters which is fun as I liked making them more to my liking. All in all a fun game, it just ran to long and you never really find out things like what was with the incident with Zephyr and how did he and Leanne survive their free fall. However, with the confusing stuff there was also good with the story as the world was never really in danger for a change as usually something wants to destroy the world in games like these. There are really no bad guys either as there are the finishing fights, but they are not with people with dark schemes. Like I said very good, just a bit of work here and there on that story and shorter running time would have helped.

    • Trivia
If the players own the PlayStation 3 version and unlocks all the 17 chapter completion trophies, they can look at their trophy list and those unlocked trophy pictures and if they lined them up from top to bottom: "Prologue Complete" to "Chapter 16 Complete", it will reveal the complete huge structure, Basel. The game's main location.

      Vashyron: Justice triumphs, again.

Zephyr: I thought you were the bad guy?
