We're "AMERICANS", right? "We Love FREEDOM!", Don't we? So much talk about "Illegal Aliens" in recent years...But how often does someone point out to us, "Hey, you know what? I'm sorry...But maybe WE'RE the ORIGINAL Illegal Aliens!"
For me, American OUTRAGE refers to the U. S. Constitution and my reaction to the revelation that the ONLY persons living on U. S. soil who are NOT protected by it are Native Americans. They are the legal equivalent of children or the legally insane, who must be looked after by "Legal Guardians" or "Caretakers" who "determine their best interests".
How ironic! People who have occupied the same tribal lands many CENTURIES before the arrival of Columbus are denied the Constitutional rights that are extended to illegal aliens who have only been here for days!
The U. S. refers to those countries who refuse to go along with U. N. decisions, or judgments made by international courts as ROGUE States. OUTRAGE is what I felt upon discovering that despite having the U. N. and international courts rule in their favor, The Western Shoshone people cannot get justice nor recognition of any sort from the U. S. Federal Government!
OUTRAGE points out something most of us know, but perhaps feel uncomfortable saying out loud. In 1500, there were over 4 Million Native Americans in the Continental U. S.... By 1890 there were ONLY 250,000. We don't like to dwell on the cold hard reality of the U. S. government and, perhaps, some of our great-great-great-grandparents perpetrating the "G" word.
OUTRAGE presents us the world of the Dann Sisters. Two very elderly Western Shoshone ranchers, living and working on the same land their grandmother had lived on. Watch as the U. S. government commits the ethnic, spiritual, cultural, economic and political genocide of the sisters and their life together. Perhaps OUTRAGE will be your reaction, too.
10*.... ENJOY!/DISFRUTELA!

The ongoing genocide of Native Human Beings is highlighted in American OUTRAGE. The U.$. government- BY the corporations, FOR the corporations- continues to Kill and Steal from Natives to this day, even going so far as to charge them with "trespassing" on their own land. When they complain, when their herds of horses "grazing on Federal lands" are fenced in and left to starve to death, the U.$. government prepares to "test" another Atomic Bomb on their land in retaliation. The discovery of gold on Native land resulted in the land being rendered uninhabitable by the use of arsenic (used to sift the gold from the land). I've heard that, at one time, there were as many as 50 million Natives in this company when the first invasion(s) began; there are now, we're told, only 250,000 Natives left. Even the Nazis weren't THAT efficient at genocide.
