The ninth, yes ninth movie in the Paranormal Investigations franchise this goes in a very different direction than the other films and not in a good way.

Paranormal Investigations 9 otherwise known as Dead Collections otherwise known as Paranormal Captivity otherwise known as The Haunting otherwise known as Haunting in New Jersey should be used as a tool in film schools, an educational film of what not to do when making a movie.

It tells the story of a girl whose husband commits suicide. She moves in with her uncle only to find that malicious forces are out to get her (Insert dun dun duuuun here).

For a 500k budget this looks and sounds cheap, that can be forgiven if it makes up for it in other areas but this really doesn't. The writing is terrible, the cinematography is laughable, the cast is mostly dreadful and the whole thing really doesn't have much in the way of redeeming features.

I like the fact it defies usual conventions and has two antagonists in addition to the supernatural threat, but that simply isn't interesting for the movie to have any credibility.

The movie is simply an amateurish embarrassment, each layer you peel back reveals something even more cringe inducing.

One to avoid even if ghost themed horrors are your thing, on account of it having minimal ghost and almost no horror.

And yes, it has happened! I graded a movie with 1 star! Just one! And that is only because there are no half measures here.

I managed to watch this movie, I followed the plot, the actors, the acting, the CGIs, the whole bunch, and I must say, it really was dreadful. Is one of the worse movies I've seen, and boy did I see a lot, but to put such a thing on a tape, to post it, to let others see it?!?

It is horribly cheap and horrible itself, an experience like I never had so far, so I guess, the new low for me, will be Paranormal Captivity. Not so much to say, of course, avoid, just avoid and you'll be safe. With whatever else you decided to go, you'll be better, trust me on this one.

Far worse than the horror movies I created at sleepovers as a kid.

This is a garbage. Tho whole movie is sooo soo bad in many ways. The scenes are pretty much always the same, the characters are unlikeable. The main character is a below average woman who lost her husband and all the crazies are after her. The acting .if I can call that acting at all is same like kids do in a kindergarten, you cannot do anything else just laugh ..especially the strip bar scene, when this piggy woman tries to seduce the bad guy.

The only good is the ghost girl, because she says nothing and the old man who kinda loveable.

Why is it that so many talents has no job and they release this trash.

Why this movie was made? Boredom .maybe.
