Harmony from the Heart

Love the fact that this movie is about music therapy and not your run of the mill Hallmark movie about saving a town or a Christmas or reconnecting with her ex! This is the type of movie you watch and feel good because it gives you hope. I have been through a life changing experience and music was the only thing that gives my life back.

Jessica is so talented! I love that she can sing, act, write songs and wrote an original script for a cute movie. Jessica sure did a great job with the casting. The storyline is great. It flows quite well throughout the movie. They just need a little work on the editing.

I would not listen to those naysayers criticizing this movie because is written by Jessica. If you want something that challenges your mind or intellect you would read an Umberto Eco book!

Love this movie I am all for supporting up and comer new screen play writer like Jessica.

A fresh premise done in a fresh way and done well. This is what I've been waiting for from GACFamilyTV.

For a long time I didn't care for Jessica Lowndes, but recently she has grown on me and this movie makes me a fan. She writes the script, acts and sings including an original song she also wrote. Who cares if there might be a little self-interest in laying out a perfect movie for herself to act and sing. And she sings more than once. The finale is truly excellent.

Lowndes and Metcalfe click all the way through. Acting is good all around and I thought Susan Hogan did a nice job also.

For those who don't know, GACFamily broke away from Hallmark, reportedly with the idea of maintaining traditional values (my own words). They presented a Christmas lineup in 2021 which for me was pretty much the same old stuff and uninspiring, despite signing some veterans of Hallmark movies. I have been rooting for them to succeed, but the Christmas lineup seemed second class in more ways than one. I'm sure I'm a little overenthusiastic about this movie, but it is a sign of hope for future productions. Unfortunately, the path isn't necessarily all roses because this movie relied on some atypical things to make it stand out. Jessica Lowndes singing along with some of the other upbeat music is one of those things. Here's hoping.

I like it. For basic idea, for musical moments, for fair image of melotherapy, for honest eulogy of grandparents, for Jesse Metcalfe, not last. And for nice perspective about Valentine day.

Sure, not different , in essence, by many others Hallmarks. But sweet and predictable and this is the only matters thing.

So, pretty nice humor, correct crafted romance - with Deep traces of unrealism, second couple and reasonable final. For this, just a pretty nice film, reminding the old recipe, saved by decent acting and some good musical moments, useful pledge for the virtues of melotherapy, good portrait of ambitious young lady.

Nothing groundbreaking here but Jessica Lowndes is beautiful and talented. She really should be in better movies than this though. Jesse Metcalfe, who I've been a fan of for years , seemed miscast here. The rest of the cast were decent overall, but the actor playing the client needing music therapy because he couldn't speak was hilariously bad. I was laughing at his 'responses' and I don't think that was the intention!

This is a feel good movie for those who appreciate the power of music and who are in the mood for a charming Valentine's Day romance. The acting, writing, directing, and editing all are very professional, entertaining, and well executed. I applaud all involved with this production for creating such an endearing and positive film for this holiday! This is one that I could envision watching every February.
