Originally created as an interactive CD-ROM available at the New York Library for the Performing Arts, many of the sections do not lend themselves to presentation as linear videos online.
First released as a multimedia CD-ROM of theater artist Robert Wilson's earl works, in which digital artist and director Paul Kaiser exhumes vanished performances of the late 1960's and early 70's through an active interrogation of the archive and of participants' memories. Among the works explored are "Deafman Glance", "The Life and Times of Joseph Stalin", "Ka Mountain", and "Einstein on the Beach".
This interactive digital art work explores Robert Wilson's early work from the late 1960s and early 1970s, and includes archival material from the Robert Wilson Audio/Visual Collection and new material especially produced for the work.
