It is nice to see a company making films with so many child actors. It is also nice to see that the kids are given equal lines to the adults and not just treated as accessories. King's Man is a gripping story of kidnappers leading to sex slavery. As this crime has grown to rates out of proportion it is nice to see it dealt with is such an excellent way. Doua Moa is now the star of Disney's Mulan movie and you can see by his acting here why he was chosen. He is spot on in his portrayal as the cross dressing Madam and is enjoyable to watch as he was in Clint Eastwood's Gran Turino.
With Sex Trafficking one of the fastest growing crimes it is nice to see a film that deals with the subject in both a riveting and exciting way. This film features Doua Moa from Gran Turino and Mulan and is quite the production.
An international film done by an independent company. Hats off to Boat Angel for the wonderful job and to director Brenton Covington.

Imagine making a film about kidnapped children in a city where less than a mile from filming over 56 sexual predators are living. Imagine making it realistic when every day more and more children are kidnapped feeding the demand for sexual perverts with human slaves. That is the story of King's Man and unlike Taken with it terrific chase scene King's Man is gritty believable and well done. Brenton Covington brings a scene of film knowledge letting the characters act out the drama rather than forcing anything out of the them The story unwinds seamlessly scene by scene as the audience sits in the seats wondering what will happen next. The theme song Blood Cries out is especially tearful and even though you expect resolution in real life the tragedy is most children are never found. King's Man is a must view for parents of young children.
I thought King's Man was an excellent independent film production. I was able to watch it uninterrupted and was gripped by it's message. Though faintly similar to Taken this film captures the terror that must be felt by kidnapped victims and highlights how truly difficult it is to rescue someone who has been kipnapped. The imagery was rich the acting was great especially Jose Rosette. The locations throughout Arizona reminded me a bit of the Cohen film Raising Arizona the mountains, locals could not have been better. The set design was a bit lacking but the camera work and directing was first rate reminded me of a Michael Bay film with quick cuts and attention to detail. They could not have done more to highlight the terror but still I would rate this film a solid ten and recommend it to anyone. I found the part from Doua Moa of Gran Turino especially enjoyable.
For starters: someone (obviously attached to the project) said this was a great movie for children. Let me state that NO, IT IS NOT. This is a movie about human trafficking! A lot of gun violence as well as images of dead and abused children. It is mainly about 3 preteen girls who are abducted, but it is not for children. Ok, review: The script is okay and is shot on mediocre equipment. The acting of every adult is subpar with a few exceptions, Doua Moua who plays a man in drag (oddly enough he goes on to play one of the three characters that dress in drag in Mulan), and Casper, the captor/guard of the girls, played by John Lee Brody (Star Trek: Into the Darkness). The three girls did a decent job as well. The worst of them (character-wise and acting-wise) was the wannabe Rambo paster, the "hero" character named David played by Jose Rosete. The character was unconvincing and hard to take seriously. And his acting was laughable when it wasn't cringeworthy. Overall watchable if you can't find anything else on Amazon Prime.
