Cute intro & ending songs. Fabulous animation style with vibrant colors and mystery tone setup. The scores and audio effects were pleasently great. Terrific voice castings and adorable/neat characters design. Great attention to details. Almost felt like watching studio ghiblis movies.

Huge fan of cooking animes, cartoons and shows - this is nothing like my most beloved cooking anime - Food Wars (Shokugeki No Souma) but still good in terms of the contents quality and everything. Unlike food wars, the tasting exlressions were tone down a bit to make it real and kids friendly. Plus this heavily focuses on chinese cuisines. Personally im a home cook, this show had taught me several tips and shared knowledge on ingredients or spices.

Can falls in fantasy/mystery - isekai, competitive, slice of life, romance, action/adventure, political and comedy categories. Basically a little bit of everything.
