*LAKIRO (Gujarati) -*
It's a romantic drama of perfectly imperfect couple and the challenges they both face at different stages of their life. Lead pair is formed by Raunak Kamdar and Deeksha Joshi; both have acted really well with the right kind of expressions considering depending scene sequences. Film is good in parts! Like when it starts, we feel less connected; till interval it is boring; after interval it becomes interesting and ends in remarkable way. So, it's the second half where film leaves it's mark. Besides fine later half, film also has great music and songs. In supporting cast film has Netri Trivedi, Vishal Shah and Dharmesh Vyas; they have small but significant roles and they have fared well.
As said the story is cliché! It's about a working couple and the kind of encounters they face in married life because of their diverse career paths. Two individuals fall in love and get married. Like all couples, both start giving momentum and importance to their respective professions. But this gradually creates a gap between them which becomes unbearable. Things get so bad that they finally decide to file for divorce. Now what happens next? Can they both get back together? How? All these forms the crux of the film.
Darshan Trivedi's direction is good and has given the film a melancholic touch. Screenplay could have been better as film seems very slow and dull till interval. Music is the plus point and songs are outstanding. All the songs are sung by Bollywood Singers like Amit Trivedi, Vishal Dadlani, Benny Dayal etc so all of them are melodious and superb. Dialogues are praiseworthy and cinematography too as locations of Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad are attractively filmed! I specifically liked the Deeksha Joshi's acting and how she could bring different expressions of joy, stress, anger, pleasure, anguish, hate, confidence, motherhood, etc via his role. Overall considering good second half, fine performances, and fabulous music; I would like to rate this film as 3 / 5 (🌟🌟🌟). Not a family film, remember.
*What I Liked Most? -* "Tu Nathi Ke Tu Chhe" Song. In fact, all the songs.
*P. S. -* 60% dialogues are in English, and you call it a Gujarati Film!? Sad.

The movie is titled as lakiro which means limits but here the limits were stretched
The movie started with a good pace within no time the couple met and got married then their daily normal chaos started and here the movie got stucked and was stretched on simple couple fights subject..after interval there were some normal twists and it ended on a typical happy ending climax..the movie lacked a good pace as they have showed corporate culture
Raunaq looked smart and played a good character of a corporate tycoon along with deeksha who played her character very normal and maintained a normal chemistry
Too long to watch in theatre.

Raunaq looked overconfident and played unrealistic character of a corporate tycoon along with deeksha who played her character very uptight and maintained a out of context chemistry.. I mean this only happens in 5% of American high end couples whose marriage ends in divorce anyways.. forget gujju couples..

Gujarati films have shaken up eoken up now. No more sati, sant, jamindars, baharvatiyas... Pure urban back ground movie! Gujrat is a dry State but cleverly used alcoholic fondas with no stigma approach. Cut throat flirty encounters, decorated with current spoken trends used intellegently. Story progresses as one can go on presumptions but descent. All the Vadil elders are smartly muted, raims are in the hands of persons concern that too suspecting fadality innocence prevealing with smart work and no Desi over churned dialogues. Three cities are explored Ahmedabad, Banglore, Mumbai the direction of take of and landing don't get targets, Story is simple but few times idea could have been shown more effactively to generate emotions. Music did not klik enough but gener Pop Disco used welcome!. Medical things are mistake less. No greedy overtwisting. Sanity matters. Even Comedy a little touched and left in Court councilour's office.

The film defines one of the most challenging issues faced by today's youth ! Two ambitious ppl stuck together and how they navigate their life and its ups and downs ! The film has wonderful music and lyrics , rare to find in Gujarati cinema , very well approach focusing today's generation. Something that we relate to in our relationship and around us . Don't miss watching this emotional roller coaster ride. Raunaq Kamdar looks handsome and flawless . Also the way he portrays his character is upto the mark . Deeksha Joshi - outstanding. The story telling Breaks the typical Gujarati narrative. ,
