Rest

This is an interesting and well-executed horror short about a teenage boy who knows he's trapped in a nightmare but can't wake up. The effects are impressive for a short film, and the story feels original and unique. I especially liked the twist at the end-it completely caught me off guard.

The acting is solid, and the film keeps things tight with just two characters: the boy and a mysterious, horned figure that stalks him with clearly cruel intentions. The story is told entirely through the boy's narration, almost like a monologue, which works well to explain the events in the absence of dialogue.
