Long time since I've seen a comedy that actually made me laugh. This was so damn funny, I laughed the whole movie which I don't think it ever happened to me.
You must be a stressed stiffed romanian to not appreciate how absolutely superb this movie was and at the same time you need to be romanian to understand the huge amount of cultural subtleties present in the movie. At every turn in this movie there was fun made by something.. either corporate culture, work attitude, regional pride and common traits, current situations, etc They made fun of themselves and everything/everybody around and maybe some jokes were obvious, but still funny when encompassed in all that authentic environment and language.
Which brings us to the language. I had english subtitles, they were obviously before the actual speach, I've read them and did not even smile, heard it in romanian with all that swearing and the joke became funny as hell. I don't swear (except in english and when driving...) so vulgar language is not common to me but in this context it just made perfect sense.
I thoroughly enjoyed the prejudice, the language, the jokes. Would I watch it again, no, it was a relaxed, funny movie, but definitely no art work. It was just pure romanian fun and I absolutely stand by my rating.

This could not be considered a movie. It's a bunch of sketches glued together to create a wanna be comedy.
Full of jokes that you could find five years ago on the internet. It's just a money grab that lures corporate workers with some phrases tot are often used in corporate jargon.
No character introduction, no motivation for the main protagonist just some scenes to fill the movie.
The department from Moldova is there just for the trailers, so the men audience can see some attractive girls. They play absolutely no role in the movie.
Also the team behind the movie is unable to accept criticism. If you write something bad about the movie they swear and act like maniacs, especially Cosmin Nedelcu, aka Micutu, who has no acting skills.

I had really low expectations after many negative reviews seen. But it was actually a really decent comedy to watch on a Friday night. Even if being decent, is one of the best comedies in Romania from the last 3 decades. The problem is that the plot happens around the "corporation environment" which, ironically and sad, is still new for romanian public which has a big part of the public nostalgic after communist times and working for "the state".
Some really smart jokes, taboo topics that should be talked more in Romania, general corporation jokes. Take a pizza, a beer, and relax. You will not laugh your eyes out, but you will smile most of the movie.

I don't think it was a very good comedy as it did not appeal to me personally but I can understand the appeal to other people. There is a lot of unnecessary violence and swearing for no particular reason, just because the producer thought it might be interesting.
There are also a lot and I mean a lot of clichees, like every other scene is a clichee. Every ethnicity in Romania is represented by yet another clichee, a thing that will appeal to simple minds. All in all I think they did a great job at making a commercial product that will be enjoyed by as many romanians as possible.
It is a mediocity fest that the majority of people will find true to life, which is a good thing from a business perspective. Therefore I hope for many more sequels. Not sequels I will watch, but sequels the people want. Long live romanian people and their lovely mediocrity!

My humor level and expectations are pretty high and, when I heard about another Romanian movie, I rolled my eyes expecting a low quality and no but surprisingly, I laughed a lot and the gigs were quite good. I see a lot of negative comments and I only think that Romanians will be Romanians: proud of anything that never put effort or contribution (look up any successful athletes, tennis sportsmen and women, swimmers etc) and jealous and genuinely mean towards any hard working, talented Romanians that are really doing something.
So please ignore them and enjoy your success! Bravo! Keep up the good work!
