To be honest, this is the best variety show that I've watched. Really mysterious and fun. The casting was perfect. Specially KAI. This guy is a genious. He and Lee seungi were my favorites and they really had good chemistry together. Kim heechul and Park Nare were the funniest members. I really had so much fun watching them all. Please make 2nd season for this.

This series was so much fun!! The setting was absolutely gorgeous, and I really enjoyed the unpredictability of all the games they played. Since I watch a lot of variety shows, I thought this would be more of the usual, but to my surprise, everything in New World felt unique and refreshing. Plus, the cast had such great chemistry, it was endlessly entertaining seeing their alliances shift and change as rankings and betrayals shook things up. I laughed so hard at quite a few unexpected parts!

I could also really appreciate the editing of the episode previews: Whenever I thought I knew exactly what was going to happen, they kept me guessing and undermined my expectations. And since I was familiar with most of the cast, there was never a shortage of people to root for since they all had equal time to shine... my personal favorites were Lee Seung-gi and Kim Hee-Chul.

I really hope there's a season 2, so that this same cast can be reunited and really compete "without guilt" and go crazy in the race for 1st. I'm sure most of them - though one in particular - desperately yearns for revenge. 😂😂

If you're tired of constant drama and the weight of the worlds ills, then this New World is for you!

I've never watched a show that had as perfectly integrated production. The sensation of a show that feels like its just a normal vacation but elevated by an earnest attempt to give paradise is abound. A place to mentally and physically visit somewhere new and exciting, even as a viewer. This is of course the feeling that the "perfectly integrated production" of the show is aiming for, and it succeeds with elegance.

If you're looking to sit down to the Jersey Shore look elsewhere, but if you've enjoyed Terrace House, then sit down with some tea and enjoy!

Watching it for a second time 3 years later since a second season still hasn't happened, and it's still as fun and exciting as the first time. What makes it so great:

First of all the location. This place is seriously out of this world. It's gorgeous, and every scene looks amazing because of it.

Second, the cast. They're all so fun, I don't know how much the director or writers interfered and I don't really care, all their reactions were so fun and clever as well as the interactions between them.

Third, the supporting cast was super fun too.

Fourth, the games. They were interesting and fun and each episode had more than one game which meant it never got boring or slow.

I really do hope we get another season. Or maybe it worked because it was just 8 episodes? I don't know but if you're ever bored or feeling down this show will definitely lift your mood! Great production 10/10.
