Bury the Past

This was one of the really good Lifetime movies that I have seen. The acting was solid by everyone, especially Sarah Allen and Rebecca Amzallag!

I have not seen Rebecca much but she was amazing in this. She played the snooty stiff upperlipped sister-in-law but at the same time she was caring and kind-hearted.

As usual Damon Runyon yet again played a psycho narcissist. I seriously don't know what's up with him and Rib Hills (another Lifetime regular baddy) who always play psychos!!!!

The storyline was good and realistic. The acting and dialogue were both pretty good! A big thumbs up from me!

In the late1960's and early 1970's there was w Gothic soap opera called "Dark Shadows", which now can be remembered by folks in their 60's and 70's (I'm 63). Now it is sometimes shown on some local channels.

One of the plotlines of that show was about the family matriarch being blackmailed because she murdered her husband - - very similar to this story but with a very different outcome.

Again, this is set in the "Lifetime Universe" were people can change their identities very easily, fall in love and get married in a matter of months, etc.- but IT IS the "Lifetime Universe"!!

The twist at the end is great, and the ending is great too.

Pleasantly surprised how well quality this movie is. Doesn't feel like lifetime movie the actors in this did really well the story is. The Story is compelling with a great twist ending kept me on her edge of my seat I loved it. This quality is way beyond other movies lifetime has made.

Pretty good lil Lifetime Movie in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised as it kept my attention. Nice twist at the end I didn't see coming. See what you think!
