Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake completely blew me away! I never expected Adventure Time to get an adult-targeted spin-off, but I'm so glad it did - and even more glad that it didn't disappoint.
Right from the very first scene, Fionna's dream sequence had amazing animation that set the tone for the rest of the show. And that quality stayed consistent through every episode - rich colors, smooth motion, and striking visuals that bring the multiverse to life in a whole new way.
What I really loved was how Fionna and Cake aren't just fictional characters written by the Ice King anymore - they're actually traveling across the multiverse and heading to Ooo! That shift made their journey feel more real, more emotional, and much more engaging.
Seeing Finn as an adult caught me off guard, but I adjusted quickly and loved how he was handled. The show gives us just enough of the original characters - like PB and Marceline (their tattoo scene was the perfect reintroduction!) - while still focusing on new stories and personal growth.
And I caught a clever detail: when the human version of Lumpy Space Prince appeared, his name was Ellis P. - a neat nod to the acronym LSP. Loved that!
The bus scene was also a huge highlight, packed with so many fun references to Adventure Time - I even spotted what looked like a human female version of Fern! These small touches made the show feel like a love letter to longtime fans, while still being fresh and bold.
Also, I liked how Prince Gumball's real name is Gary - it fits the character in a funny, grounded way.
This series perfectly balances nostalgia, humor, emotion, and mature storytelling. It expands the Adventure Time world in a way that feels meaningful and respectful, not forced. It's one of the best spin-offs I've ever seen.

Tbh I though Fionna and Cake should not be that good as The original adventure time but It did Fionna and Cake is amazing and near a masterpiece for sure, I got The hype for this Animated serie because it's so good and I love to see adventure time back with another characters.

I love this. I think everyone who watches this has watched Adventure Time. Fionna & Cake? It's everything we loved from AT condensed and elevated, bloodier with more personal and heavy themes to keep up with the aging audience, and a familiar cast of characters in a new light, in new variations and closer insights into them.
The humor is on point, the action is krisp, and I love the new directions they're exploring with the multiverse. I truly hope that this will be as long, if not longer than Adventure Time. Because the potential is there, the quality too, a hit series better than its predecessor is in the making.
Please, keep it up. We love Adventure Time. And this? It's AT², truly mathematical!

Having been a huge fan of Adventure Time since I was 12, this one is pretty nostalgic to me. I remember watching an episode of Adventure Time back then on our family television (I think it was "Trouble In Lumpy Space") that lured me and the whole family into the series. It's got everything a child could ever dream of: adventure, princesses, and all things mathematical!
Other than that, Adventure Time had always been so great at telling their stories, with character arcs that just make sense and are so raw that gives the antagonists of the story their own character development which makes you love them more. Each and every character are unique in their own little way.
Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake tells the story of the two titular characters who gets stuck in the multiverse that is told so perfectly and alters infinite realities massively. The creators are never afraid to test our their abilities to further expand the stories and how literally anything could happen. So far, "The Winter King" and "The Star" are my favorite episodes of the season -- and I am craving for more. I already love Gary and Marshall Lee's storyline, as well as Simon and Fionna's dynamic.

I remember watching the pilot for adventure time back when I was just seven years old in 2010. I remember seeing the first episode for this amazing show. It's crazy to believe how much backstory and lore there is about this show. Every episode was important because it either gave us more information about a character or it introduced a new character. What I liked about adventure time was that no matter what happened there was always an adventure going on and this show has so many References that its amazing how much I know about this show & the new series is really good I mean I understand it's only 2 episodes but its Amazing. I honestly feel like Im 7 Years old again witnessing a new show for the first time. But the show grew up with all of us like its crazy that we get to finally hear the characters curse. Its honestly something that I should cherish. I'm happy that I get to watch a sequel to this show. I'm currently 20 years old and I am Happy that its still relevant. So I give it an 11/10. Thanks Pendleton Ward for making this show what it is today.
