These two attractive ladies get a cookbook, make several recipes from it and have a guest chef come in and judge their efforts. Along the way, they have some very entertaining interactions, mishaps and observations about the cookbook, each other, and life in general. They are obviously close and longtime friends and that comes through in a way that makes them very endearing. It's just a very enjoyable show and it's a shame they are not doing it (or anything else) anymore.
I like watching these adorable Canadian ladies cook a meal in a small amount of time for a chef out of various cookbooks. some cookbooks are trendy and have a nutty themeslike everything has one common ingredient or everything is grilled.
some your mom or grandma definitely cooked out of. They tell you what problems they had and show you the results they got.I like that they show you have to pair wine/beer and cheese and what not to do.
They even do little taste tests at different places with key ingredients and see what people pick. I also love that they are so silly and irreverent the whole time and make me laugh. I ended up cooking out a few of the cookbooks just because they cooked out of them and the one I am buying because everything was so good in it.

Anna and Kristina have to be the best Canadian import to the US since sliced bread! Okay, so maybe we didn't import sliced bread from Canada. So they are #1~! Could there be a more charming, beautiful, delightful couple of ladies to watch screwing up recipes in the kitchen? =) I'm not a big fashion bug, so watched their fashion show prior to this one but didn't much get into it as a guy, who's wardrobe consists pretty much of just jeans and T-shirts... But I do like to cook, so when they came out with this show I was thrilled.
They are adorable. You can see it come through that they are really friends. And its good to see them be honest with the recipes they work with (though I think that episode with Glamour magazine was staged. The recipes turned out horribly, and they both gave the magazine a thumbs up? Seriously, did you get a feature article or something in Glamour and feel you owed the magazine something?) Other than that though they have been very straightforward on the show and they are both ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE, DELIGHTFUL women. If I was starting a harem, they'd be #1 and #2. Okay, into creepy fan territory, so will go now...

How does these two people get theirs own show?
They are clueless in the kitchen, and yet try to act like expert on different type of food. Again, how do they get theirs own show, why????? I cringed when I came across this show. If you enjoy watching cooking show, avoid this show at all cost!!!!
They know nothing about ingredients and lack of any food experience, plus they don't even know how to cook?? Apparently talent or knowledge is not required to have a cooking show, they must have connection to people in the TV world/production. They are so busy analyzing over the ingredients and tools instead of rolling up theirs sleeve and actually cook.
