There's not a strong plot in this film. It's really just each individual person or a group of people running into the same killer. The film is definitely a low budget independent production which is obvious but but at the same time, when it comes to independent films there's a few things you can do to elevate or make it better: You can have a good story, strong acting performances, and great special effects. I really like the serial killer character and I feel like had that character been fleshed out more, there would have been more potential to be better. Be careful what you wish for, horror lovers.

Alex Nigo's slaughterhouse-scrappy cat and mouse chase thriller nails the art of the kill in Passages of Nexus. Unfortunately, it's too long, too disjointed, and more like a vision board of ideas that never find their connective tissue. Nexus earns points with extreme practical gore effects and a dedication to making its audience wince. It's stark and cold in some ways, but loose and playful in others, with cutaways indicated through perfectly pitched dark humour. Pushing its nastiest elements a little further might have made it more permanently rattle the soul, but POA will still leave you suitably shook up.
