Netflix’s ‘Final Draft,’ originally titled ‘Fainarudorafuto,’ is packed with intense physical challenges that aren’t meant for the average person. The show brings together former professional athletes who once enjoyed legendary careers in various sports but have since stepped away from the spotlight. Now, they return to test their strength, stamina, and skill all over again, proving to themselves and others that they still have what it takes. In its first season, baseball players, football stars, and athletes from other disciplines entered the arena, tackled grueling obstacles, endurance-based trials, and high-pressure skill tests designed to push them to their limits.

Over the last 70 years, we've seen many versions of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures In Wonderland on our screens. There are always new ways to experience a timeless classic, and Japan is bringing a different take on the story in anime form. Titled Dive in Wonderland, the new movie is set to debut this summer and, in order to tease it, P.A. Works decided to reveal a slate of character looks along with a promotional video. The anime movie is yet to get a release date on this side of the world.
The images reveal the character designs of Dive in Wonderland by artists Kosuke Kawazura and Mio Fujishina. In them, we can see some pretty iconic characters like the White Rabbit — albeit a lot more technological with a smartphone in hand, tablet and smartwatch — the purple (but not striped) Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, The Queen of Hearts and many others.

Those who have read enough manga or watched vintage anime shows like Dororo and Astro Boy would be familiar with Osamu Tezuka, also known as "the father of manga" and "the godfather of manga." Furthermore, like Walt Disney, which dominates the animation industry in the West, Tezuka's works served as mainstream anime until the late 1980s, before he passed away in 1989.
Naoki Urasawa, the acclaimed author of the world-renowned anime Monster, created a manga spin-off of Astro Boy titled Pluto from 2003 to 2009. Taking his idol, Osamu Tezuka, as inspiration, he followed in his footsteps and produced something that would last long and serve as a reminder of how influential Tezuka-san was.
With Netflix adapting the award-winning manga Pluto, fans of both Tezuka and Urasawa are enthusiastic to see how it turns out. Given Netflix's history of successful manga adaptations such as Blood of Zeus, Castlevania, and Levius, there is no...
