The reason Wheel of Fotune and Jeopardy have lasted so long is that they stay away from the caffeine and other unregulated pharmaceuticals. There's no need for screaming and overreacting on this game show. You can practically see the audience signs: Scream! Groan! Cheer for no reason!

Keke Palmer's outfit made me want to put on sunglasses. Everything is just so over the top annoying. They ruined a great game.

I have nothing against Keke Palmer; I think she's a great actress. That being said, her role as the host was over the top and a little distracting. I agree with another reviewer who said that everything seemed overproduced, including the audience's OOHS and AHHS. I did like John Hamm and Jimmy Fallon as guests. If they tone it down a little, the show will be better.

I know it must have freaked producers out that there would be a show with people sitting behind a desk for an hour, but the audience can handle that without the manic energy that seems forced here. Excited people are great, but it can relax after a moment and just be a normal energy. That goes for the editing too... I was getting dizzy as the shot changed up like once every 5 seconds needlessly... just film it, doesn't have to switch so often. Finally, the show was Allan Ludden's and if it wasn't for Jimmy Fallon saying it he would have completely been cut out of mentions or tributes. I loved Betty White and I know she's fresh in our minds, but it was Allen's show and not to show him seems like the producers don't share the same love of the original as the audience does. There was also super password with Bert Convy which could also be given a nod. Tradition and keeping a steady pace aren't anti-new... it's important to keep that connection to the past and move forward. The set and love for the game is there & with a little tweaking this could be a fun new chapter.

Keke Palmer is not too much like the most said, she is fun and the gameshow is so much fun! I love the interactions between the celebs and the people playing, its so much fun!

I recomended this show to my country's top television show, that they should do someting like this.

I also love Jimmy Fallon on this, he is such a good clue giver, and i watched this show with alot of enthusiasm, i understand its an older American gem with my favorite Betty White among others, witch i haven't had the pleasure to watch anywhere yet, but i'll keep trying to find it! I recomend to watch this great show! And i love Keke Palmer!

Love the show! But I would say that there is too much hugging and running around. Also we have loved Keke Palmer on previous things but she is too "over the top" and she is impersonating Niecy Nash exactly the entire time.

I liked the first season. It was fun and while they'd occasionally push the limits of the rules by adding sounds and small movements to their one word clues it was still quite challenging.

The start of the second season is just silly. All through the episode they allow the contestants to add movement and sound effects to their clues. The clue for "Buzz" was "Beezzzzzzzzz" with a distinct buzzing sound? The clue for "Flex" was "Muscles" and the guy literally flexed his muscles as he said it.

At that point they've removed the challenge of how do you get someone to guess a word with only a single word clue. Then they should just call it celebrities being silly. And ironically, Joe Manganiello was great at regular clues so he didn't need to add the rest in.

I realize the show is designed to be goofy but they had basic rules the first season that worked so why not stick with them on the second season?

I love the game of Password, but this manic, loud and obnoxious upgrade of the old show is disturbing. I loved the quietness and intensity of the original. When I saw that Jimmy Fallon was producing it, I knew it would be trouble. Keke Palmer is fine if only the whole atmosphere was not a circus.

This is fun as hell. Keke Palmer is a delight! Jimmy was fun for an episode. But dear lord, we don't need him on every episode. If he's in every episode, I'm not sure I want to keep watching. Make him stay home every once in awhile. 💩

I've always loved Password and was so looking forward to the revival of this game show. Mr Ludden would give it a thumbs down and a frowning emoji. It is over-the-top celebration (a common complaint of mine for many other recent game shows) and crass commercialization. I will likely watch it because it is more mentally stimulating than other network shows, but I wish the old format/rules were present. Tone down the chatter, the feigned excitement and product placement passwords and it will be more enjoyable. I hope the network will read these comments and that Jimmy Fallon will tone down his acting out the passwords. That's plain cheating.

AND we're done. Jimmy Fallon might be producing the show - but he does not need to be in EVERY episode. His over the top reactions are ridiculous. Keke Palmer is loud and obnoxious. The set looks like it was recycled from Who Wants to be. Millionaire. It's sad - because as a kid we watched Password with Allan Ludden and Betty White all the time. It wasn't loud and obnoxious. AND whoever the due is saying the password - lose the silly "mysterious" voice. It's not necessary. SO ... we prefer to remember the old show. It had class.

This is so much fun to watch and it's exciting to watch. It reminds me of the playfulness genuine friends have when playing the game. I always smile and laugh during this show. Not sure why so many tightwads have given such bad reviews. Ignore them, this show is great.

I'm sorry password would be a fantastic show but I don't like the host .she is loud, overbearing & her voice is very grating on the nerves! Please find a better host someone who isn't so overbearing & doesn't have such a grating voice I can only watch so much of the show &then I'm done!

Password has been my comfort show since childhood. Allen and Bert kept it calm, but fun. It seemed like an academic challenge.

This version is a circus. I was so distracted by the audience and contestant's over-reactions, Keke's unnecessary commentary, and the ridiculous goof-offs between passwords that I couldn't even focus on the show.

NBC really needs to stop giving Jimmy Fallon shows.

I'm old enough to remember the original. Loved it! Loved Alan Ludden and Betty White. The show was a classic. This is definitely a different direction. When I first saw that Keke Palmer was the host- my first thought wasn't positive. But I actually love her. I don't mind her quirky personality. I like Jimmy Fallons high energy. I really hope this gets another season. This is a fun show. A great selection of celebrities. Stop comparing it to the original. I love game shows! This is a favorite out of all the recent remakes of game shows. Six hundred characters in a review is too much. I don't know what else to say but I love password! How am I not to six hundred characters yet. This is why I don't write reviews but reallly thought this show deserves a great review.

Omgoodness I can't stop smiling! Yes Jimmy is alittle crazy but it so much more fun! The old one was good but put cha to sleep. Thank you for bringing some playful. ; )

My assessment: Keke is ok as host, in the first episode she might have been nervous or trying too hard - I'm not sure. We will see if she calms down in later episodes. Jimmy Fallon is a bit overboard because every "correct guess" is treated like the contestant just won a million dollars. The game play is decent, it takes aspects of super password/password plus and blends them with this version. The ugliest of this whole thing for me is the very annoying password announcer. He literally overannunciates every word and makes it sound nasally and irritating. Overall I'd say it's average at this point but hopefully things will level out in future episodes.

The original game show was actually about playing a competitive game. This newer version is all about how the much the Emcee and the hosts can stroke their egos. This over the top obnoxious drivel can not even be considered a game show. It's very much similar to the other recent attempts at remaking game shows. They never come anywhere near duplicating the quality of the original. Unfortunately they end up hiring some egotistical Hosts whose only objective is a failed attempt at humor. None of the new Sunday night game shows come anywhere near the quality of the original series. ABC, NBC, & CBS all need to find something original with quality talent instead of these new flash in the pan unfunny egotistical Host & Hostesses.

Really Fun to watch. The excitement is real. You can't compare it to the original ones because it is 2022. And time changes. I really love all the excitement.

It is 2022, not 1962, so having a host who doesn't look like a suburban businessman is refreshing. At the same time some of Keke's outfits can be distracting when watching on 21st century sized television. Love her self-confidence to wear what she does, but a really good game show host doesn't take attention away from the contestants. Unfortunately some of her flashier outfits, combined with occasional exaggerated facial expressions does just that.

Other reviews have mentioned "too much Jimmy Fallon". I'll admit, he seems to be a really good player, but it might be nice to see a few more celebrities in rotation. I'd also agree with other reviewers that his enthusiasm, and that if the audience, seems artificially over the top.

Now for two observations that I have not seen mentioned so far. I don't know about anyone else, but my husband and I find the password announcer's voiceovers to be... creepy. Did they film these first episodes last year on Halloween?

Finally, as a former theatre student (tech crews), I find it distracting that the long shots of the game set verifies to the viewer that the scoreboard is added in during post production. If I was in the live audience, how would I know which contestant has how many points? Those long shots leave me feeling unanchored and lost

I very much want to enjoy this newest incarnation of a classic game show, but if they aren't careful they'll cross the line from fun.

The"host" is an obnoxious self-absorbing talentless hack. It's unwatchable and even worse than People Puzzler where the host speaks but her lips barely move. The panel ruins the game by trying to be comedy geniuses and silliness abounds turning a classic game show into a turd. AVOID.

Stumbled on this show one Tuesday night after a basketball game and discovered Chance the Rapper and Jimmy Fallon playing PASSWORD. I was shocked that the series had been revived since I watched it in the pass during the day. After one episode I was completely sold. Keke Palmer is over the top and as a host she brings so much personality to the show. Although I watched the old Password for years (when I was little), there is no comparison. The new version brings energy and excitement to a basically boring word guessing daytime show. Since it is at night the basic premise is entertainment. Yes this is entertaining and the audience helps a lot. Jimmy Fallon has a winner. I have set my TV to watch or record every episode every Tuesday now. Not to be missed for late night enjoyment.

I was watching this the other day , and anytime a person got an answer right the audience would give a standing ovation.. it seemed a little over the top . But the worst part for me is the host , she's so over the top and feels so forced . It doesn't seem like she's lost in the moment and having fun , it feels more like she's working a job and putting on a personality for the camera . One of my favorite game show hosts is Steve Harvey and he comes off genuine , funny, etc rather see him in this than that annoying Keke.

This new version of Password is a complete joke. It's very apparent Jimmy Fallon is involved in the production of the show. Just like the Tonight show, he is the center of attention and acts like a buffoon. I'm guessing they tell the contestants to act like brain dead idiots as well, because they act just as stupid as Fallon. Just another dumbing down of America. Betty White and Allen Ludden are rolling over in their graves.

I need the voice over actor reading the passwords to narrate audio books. All of them. Thanks! LOL. I'm obsessed with your voice LOL. I love this show. I haven't laughed so hard in awhile. The guest/host/celebrity interactions are gold. Been on two game shows. As soon as my year is up from my last one I'm applying.

I used to watch the original with my grandmother. I thought it was complete snooze Ville! I only watched it with her because I love her! I was very surprised to see that this one was an awful lot more fun! I only turned in because Chelsea Handler was on it and then fell in love with Keke Palmer and of course Jimmy Fallon's such a great standup kind of guy that it's totally worthwhile to watch! I love the fact that people actually win the money and they seem to be really nice people who I'm glad to see win! Good job! I'll be looking for more of these and I'm gonna go back and watch the ones I've missed!
