Acting is not the best and the "historical period" and "fictional present time" are not well depicted, full of prejudices about an interesting time in Spanish history that could have been treated much better. Good news are that if you take the story as something completely fictional and ignore the history bit nuisances, you can enjoy kind of a "parody" of spy movies, science fiction, eternal youth experience with very nice 60's-70's Spanish pop music and the contrast between a time where people speak to people and have respect vs current cold, tech-driven society. So see it if you like something different but do not take seriously the historical facts.
Best comic book adaption in a long time.
Americans with no sense of sarcasm or other cutler than American, do not need to bother, but for the rest of us, this is a gem, absolute gem! Garcia is just amazing in his stuffy self awareness and the story is funny, with a touch like Batman feeling as it was in the early days. Someone is. Referring to historical accuracy? You are totally missing the point of the whole series! It is definitely not another boring Disney/Marvel adaption, and that is the best thing - nobody cares about Marvels anymore - it is fresh, has some great characters and truly enjoyable.

Nothing about this says its based or related to any historical event or time, so I take it as just a story that takes place in another time and place. I would compare it to any of the shows in the Arrowverse, Flash if I had to pick one. The plot is from something in the 1950's, with mad German scientist working on immortality.
The acting is fitting, its actually pretty good in that you stay focused on the story. Overall I liked the way they shot the scenes and the lighting used to give a scene of large spacing when needed and small and confined when fitting.
I went in expecting casual entertainment and that's just what it was. 1 season with 6 episodes is just right, the pace moved along and didn't waste time dragging on just to fill in time. I'll probably watch it again after 3-4 years, but not before that.

I decided to give this a go after having read what it was about. I really was not expecting much from it, but it turned out to be a lot more interesting than I had expected.
Genetically altered Super Spy cryogenically frozen by a former Nazi scientist (who speaks Spanish with a bad German accent) and awakened in modern day. It hits almost every trope you could think of from that set up and it's still fun to watch.
It's listed as a drama but it's only slightly more a drama than Warehouse 13 or Buffy, leaning more to a Action/Scifi/Comedy though it can be very dry on the humour.
I'm hoping it gets a Season 2, They set it up nicely for it... I need to know more about the 3rd pod.

So the story is about a super soldier who was in cryogenic for 60 years and now wake up in todays world. So far so good after two episodes. I liked the series. It has little bit humor not more action and story going in good way. At the second episode end got good element of surprise may be some may predict. You already the the story good guy will kill bad one but they make it so good that you going to like it. Entertaining with humor, action, some suspense. Currently watched only two so my review is based on that maybe after it I like it more or not. But definitely worth giving a shot. Watch it at least 2 episodes. You will like it.
