Even after his passing, Todd still graces the screens of horror lovers, during their endless watches of Candyman, for example, and soon in a new film that recently landed distribution. The Bunker, a sci-fi horror feature that first premiered at the Popcorn Frights Film Festival in 2024, is preparing to make its rounds. Led by Tony Todd, it's one of the legend's final roles that'll send shivers down viewers' spines in only a way he could.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Electric Entertainment has gained North American distribution rights to The Bunker, which hails from Jackrabbit Media. The full-service production and distribution company is headed by veteran producer Dean Devlin, co-writer of the 1998 film Godzilla. Horror legend Tony Todd left behind a handful of upcoming projects when he passed away last year, including Final Destination Bloodlines and The Raven. Another one of Todd’s final projects is titled The Bunker, and The Hollywood Reporter has debuted the trailer today.

Directed by Brian Hanson and written by Charles L. Bunce and Brian Hanson, this sci-fi horror film explores isolation, paranoia, and survival under pressure. Watch the trailer below.

The Bunker, a sci-fi horror feature led by the late Tony Todd, is getting ready to head out into the world.

Electric Entertainment has acquired North American distribution rights to the movie that hails from Jackrabbit Media. Helmed by Brian Hanson (The Black String), the film stars Todd, Tobin Bell (the Saw franchise), Chad Michael Collins (Sniper: Rogue Mission) and Chelsea Edmundson (The Iron Claw).

The Bunker centers on Dr. Michelle Riley (Edmundson), a young scientist sealed in a secret bunker with a team of researchers tasked with developing a weapon to stop an alien invasion.
