Duke Vincentio, whose name does not strike one as typically Austrian, has been ruling over Vienna for 14 years. Suddenly, he dons a disguise and mingles with the masses. One of the reasons informing this decision is the deterioration in Viennese public morals, which is definitely something that needs to change. Vincentio entrusts this thankless task (temporarily along with the responsibility of governance) to Angelo. Angelo delves into his work and closes brothels, also sentencing to death a boy named Claudio, who impregnated his love Julietta out of wedlock."

And he, too, acknowledged it only to himself. These days we are surrounded by do-gooders. At the same time, the Glosters (Richard III by his surname) of today have to face up to reality that they may run into greater players than themselves. And the greater player may even prove to be a woman, for that matter.
