Dara in Macabre is a woman killer which portrayed by an Indonesian actrees Shareefa Daanish both in the short film and the feature. Dara with her family is cannibal family which get immortality from eating human flesh. Some organization makes a profitable covenant for both. Dara and her family murders some people, then the organization takes some flesh to their own home.

Dara herself, if we counts Daanish's age (28 years old) and her last photo's date is 1889, so Dara born in 1861 and her face never being old, also her strength.

First we describes the first question, Who is the Children?

* First child. Arman (portrayed by Ruly Lubis). He is a fat boy and still in his adult. He never talks any words and communicates only with his family sometimes. He is the slaughter in this family. After his family broke some people to unconscious. Arman slices them into pieces then saves some fresh meat. Head always been a trash. His child photo taken in 1917. He passed away by gun shots and lose-bleed in 2010.

* Second child. Adam (portrayed by Arifin Putra). His masculine and handsome face makes his different to his brother. With his strength, he can broken a bone with one move only. He is the hunter in this family. His child photo taken in 1917. He passed away by decapitated in 2010.

* Third child. Maya (portrayed by Imelda Therinne). She is beauty and been the seductress for the group which will be the victim of Dara's family. Her child photo taken in 1917. She passed away by neck-broken and single shotgun shot in 2010.

Second question, How can Dara have children, he doesn't have husband as far audience know

There is some theory

* Dara really have a husband. Notices her different face and her children, may Dara marries many men and get the threes by them.

* Dara steals the children from a man before the children doesn't really realize Dara. This is the most accurate theory. Because they all have different face. And the man who killed by the children is their real father.

* Dara takes them from unknown place. She takes them from a place and teaching them.

Many theory are only results from the feature film. The origin may explainated in the film's prequel which rumored will created.

The motives are just very simple. They (Dara's family and the immortality organization) want fresh human flesh to keep their way to immortality. Seeks for Dara's ageless, seemingly it works and let her kills more people.

The modus are seen in the first film, may be they used other modus for another victims.

1. Maya is left alone in a deserted place, seeks for good victims. Usually group.

2. Maya lies to them that she robbed. She seduces a man in the group to bring her home.

3. Maya seduces one time again, to makes the group go to house.

4. Dara goes to introduces herself. Then with Maya, they offers a dinner for them.

5. Dinner serve. The dinner given a sleep drug. Just few foods not given.

6. The group falls to sleep.

7. Some are left there. Some again bounded in the room which behind a slaughter room.

8. Starts murdering after the victims slowly wakes.

9. The murders running for a night. Seemingly doesn't make any survivor(s).

10. Victims are dead, sliced, and ready for given to organization. Some left there for eaten by the family, cooked by Dara.

11. Waiting for another victims or directly seeks victims never explained. Prequel needed

Unfortunately, they aren't uncensord. The Indonesian DVD was cut in two scenes whereas half a minute is missing. These scenes can be seen as some more harmless ones from the movie.

Singapurian releases in the cinemas and on DVD are slightly censored as well. Approx. 30 seconds are missing in comparison to the uncensored version.
