This is a comedy Western.....isn't it? Surely it's not meant to be serious. The dialogue and acting are indeed laughable but the writers forgot to add the intentional jokes and left in the unintentional ones. Every cliche, every plot point, every character, every attempt at conveying emotion.....all been done before and better.
The multi-lingual cast may be fantastic actors in their natural language. But if they have learnt this dialogue phonetically, as appears to have happened with this movie, it really doesn't help the action or the story.
You know the phrase "so bad it's good"? Doesn't apply- it's so bad, it's worse.

I should have believed all the reviews that pan this movie. Weak and basic plot. Acting basic, mostly. No surprises. Cinematography good. Landscapes beautiful. Costumes decent. Setting very good. It left me unmoved. I didn't learn anything. Find a different one to watch, like Treasure Of The Sierra Madre, Hang 'Em High, the Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp TV Series, Once upon a time in the West, Fistful Of Dollars, the Deadwood series, Tombstone, the original half-hour shows of Gunsmoke. Anything but this, unless you Want to kill your soul. I feel like I've just had a pre-frontal lobotomy. I want my life back.
This is cheese. Not have fun don't take it seriously. Just rotten stinking cheese that has been left out for months. Maybe years. The acting is horrid. I get that the star in real life is Russian. But how wooden can someone be? Actually metal. His acting makes me think he is an actual robot. And the actresses look too modern with a. Too much makeup b. Face work done. I mean they should not be so serious in the movie. If they went out of their way maybe it would be kind of funny. But this movie has the personality of a boulder that has never moved since it's existence. To say this movie is horrible is to offend other horrible movies because nothing deserves to be put in the category with this movie. It reeks the worst smell in existence. Bad cheese and every revolting smell in existence. It should get minus 5 stars. Sucks that I have to give it one.
"Gunfight at Rio Bravo" is a forgettable western flick that fails to deliver on any level. The plot is stale and predictable. The characters are poorly developed and lack any depth or complexity, making it impossible to care about their fates.
The acting is wooden and uninspired, with lead actor giving a lackluster performance that feels like he's just going through the motions. The supporting cast is forgettable and interchangeable, with no one standing out as memorable or interesting.
The action sequences are poorly choreographed and lack any real tension or excitement. The gunfights are unremarkable and lack any sense of danger or risk, making them feel like a cheap imitation of better westerns.
The dialogue is clichéd and uninspired, filled with tired one-liners and predictable exchanges. The attempts at humor fall flat and feel forced, adding nothing to the overall experience.
The production values are low, with cheap sets and uninspired cinematography. The music is forgettable and fails to add anything to the film.
Overall, "Gunfight at Rio Bravo" is a dull and forgettable western that fails to deliver on any level. It's a movie that you'll forget as soon as it's over, and one that's not worth your time or money.

This is 21century My Darling Clementine and John Wayne's Rio Bravo and The Searchers.
Exquisite camerawork, masterfull acting, that even Stanislavski would belive to be real.
No really, the acting is out of this world... Alexander Nevsky signature technique is recognized right away, film's director makes a cameo worthy of Alfred Hitchcock's cameos, Joe Cornet's penetrable sight takes a breath away and almost makes you feel like a guilty puppy.
Extremely happy to see ''the one and only'' the legendary Olivier Gruner making a dramatic return to a big screen.
But my favourite part of the picture is...hands down... the mesmerizing and ''the beast of a man'' Matthias Hues. Let me tell ya.... this dude is the epitomy of masculinity and character acting.
He took the best from Charles Bronson, Chuck Norris, Amayak Akopyan, Brad Pitt, Samuel L. Jackson, Soso Pavliashvili and sir Nikas Safronov.
