Primaria Abbott

Abbott Elementary was so heavily promoted before the premiere I figured it was going to be terrible and the best parts were shown in trailers. I was pleasantly surprised when I watched the first two episodes. The show was/is actually great.

I love the characters.and want to strangle either Quinta Brunson or. Chris Perfetti every other minute. Both are like close friends of mine, one who can never leave things alone, they always want to poke sleeping bears; the other is so careful to never give any offense to anyone that they of course offend everyone.

The rest of the cast is just perfect, the disinterested principal, the disillusioned but still hard working veteran teacher, the NY gal who "has a guy" and the "I'm just here for a short time" sub. Yes the characters can be a little over the top in the stereo-types, but that is a tried and true formula for sit coms.

Three episodes in and it is just getting better.

Abbott Elementary is an incredible show, I love it, every character is relatable, deep, and distinctive, it's a different type of show, a fictional reality TV show, it's incredibly creative and incredibly funny, every episode gets better and better and I think once they expand the universe it'll go from great to brilliant.

I love this show, will def keep watching, and I'm gonna give it an A.

Amazing show definitely worth a watch.

A great, funny pilot. As a teacher, I have experienced these classic scenarios . Love the single camera action like Parks and Recreation. Good casting. I hope it gets picked up for a season. I need a good laugh.

Abbott Elementary. This show is great. I really enjoy the mockumentary style that it has. All the characters are funny, and while some can be annoying sometimes, there are no bad characters. This show makes me actually like school, as it shows how all these teachers find warmth at their school and really make it seem like home. The show is super funny, especially the first three seasons. Can't say too much about the fourth yet. This is what I would call a "comfort show" as I can just sit down and relax while watching it and have a good time. And even better, the whole family can watch it! It's not rated TV-MA! Defenitly recommend.

Ever since Parks and Recreation ended, I've been craving a worthy successor. Abbott Elementary is that successor.

It ticks all the boxes:

Relatable, likeable characters Brilliant sense of humour and self deprecation Shaky camera work Touches on real world issues

I'm only halfway through season one, but managed to get into it immediately. Was immensely delighted when I looked it up on IMDB to discover a further 3 more season.

The lead character Janine Teagues is an uncanny substitute for Leslie Knope, with strong passionate convictions, wanting the best for her pupils. While Jacob Hill, reminiscent of Tom Haverford, the lovable clown who wants to be seen as cool and down with the kids!

But aside from those similarities, Abbott Elementary with its obvious flaws and quirks clearly distinguishes itself as a great comedy in its own right.
