So enjoyed this lovely series. Reminds me of everything I love about our Canadian style of storytelling. Interesting stories about real people doing good work without any pumped up, staged drama.
One thing: I might invite those reviewers complaining of "deception" to do a some critical thinking. The show is about vets who care for arctic animals, it's not ice road truckers. The arctic circle would be categorically inhospitable for veterinary medical procedures (vaccines and anaesthetic freeze in subzero temperatures, which actually happened on a cold day in season 1), never mind the filming of them. Churchill (subarctic) is a huge migration point for polar bears in the fall and their conservation efforts coupled with the fact that Assinaboine, with the only arctic animal hospital in the world, is further south is the only reason the show is possible.

I am really enjoying Season 2 and the variety of stories. The camera work is actually better than in season 1, the show is well-paced and the scenes of how animals receive care are fascinating. Well done and look forward to seeing more episodes!
Reminds me of the type of programming we watched with my parents on Sunday evenings. Soild stories about real people and real situations.
My kids loved it.
Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this series. Straightforward story telling about the vets and assistants in Manitoba. Wolves, foxes and polar bears - oh my. Nice diversion from day to day Covid life.
So episode 1 of season 2 has the veterinarian and the crew working on a polar bear's tooth in the middle of summer, no snow no coats and filmed in Winnipeg.625 miles from Churchill. Then the show moves to Churchill for the next act and shows Manitoba Conservation officers capturing and relocating a polar bear, done once again with no snow and no coats AND no arctic vets or assistants. This show is worse than Animal Kingdom brought to you by Mutual of Omaha.
